CPU NATIONALS 2025 🍁

My first time competing and coaching at a National event and what an experience…

I started off the week as a lifter for bench press only, and while I was unable to PR and make a podium spot, I know I gave all I could to which was available on the day.

For the rest of the week I got to coach and handle alongside @casciolisc, @nlperformancerehab and @mj.physio helping all of the lifters reach new levels of strength they worked so hard to achieve!

7 days straight of competing, coaching and volunteering and all I can think of is how grateful I am to be able to not only participate in such a national level event, but help others do the same as well!

Congrats to all the lifters of Team @casciolisc on such awesome performances and I can’t wait to see you all continue to grow stronger! 💪

And thank you to the @casciolisc crew for helping me not only get stronger myself, but help you all do the same!

Back in the lab we go 🫡

🫎CPU NAT ‘25 recap 🫎

squats (3/3): 117.5 kg | 259 lbs (-2.5 kg)
bench (3/3): 77.5 kg | 171 lbs (+2 kg) prov record!
deadlift (2/3): 152.5 kg | 336 lbs
total: 347.5 kg | 766 lbs (+4.5kg) @ 46.55 kg | 102.6 lbs

Competed at my third nats!! The best meet I felt at 47 kg despite getting really sick the night before comp and was contemplating dropping it out. Thank goodness warm ups started feeling good and mochi by @pizza.pufff made it better ft my face on the podium🐿️🤣 I broke my bench prov record but couldn’t get my third deadlift (it’s a curse now LOL).

Thank you to everyone for their support 🥹❤️ and getting to watch all my fav strong people compete!! And meeting new strong friends! Thank you @cpunationals and meet directors for the well run meet and volunteers too. 🫶🏽 Thank you to my lil bro @johnnyngu_pl for the handle and my team @platformready_coaching and coachy @colton_prc❤️❤️❤️

dropped a whole weight class to break the bench provincial record at 47 kg and we did it! also won best lifter! didn’t know what would happen to my strength if I did but luckily I started to feel a lot stronger leading up to the comp! got too excited when I was competing and made some mistakes but that’s okay. cuz during training I realized how much I love this sport and how much I want to keep growing!! can’t wait to keep getting stronger at 47 kg and compete at the next one tehehe thanks for all the support and ubclifting/ Ethan for hosting the meet.
