It was so amazing to meet Naomi Klein last night and to see her wearing one of our “sport is political” scarves designed by Bláthnaid Ní Mhúrchú @nimhur

Naomi’s new book with Astra Taylor, ‘End Times Fascism’ is enlightening and terrifying but thankfully somewhat hopeful , a sharp analysis of how the super-rich are no longer just exploiting disasters but provoking and planning for them, and a rallying call for what comes next: not separation and supremacy, but interdependence and belonging.

What I learned from the evening: we need to continue to organise. To build community, to stay faithful to this troubled earth, to resist fiercely and fight for the living world, together. 💪🏽

Thank you Naomi, and thank you to the Dublin Book Festival @dublinbookfest for organising. Such a wonderful evening.

For years it’s been a chant on the terraces. NOW it needs to mean something more.

Right now, families in Gaza are enduring cruelty beyond words. Unbearable loss, hunger and suffering that should never be allowed to happen.

We cannot look away. We are Irish. We know what it means to live under oppression, and to resist it.

So this is a call to the FAI to stand up.
This is a call to our Irish team to stand up.
This is a call to the FAI to STOP THE GAME.

This is a call to YOU to stand up and speak out.

In this video, teachers, nurses, artists, poets, musicians, Bressie, Síle Seoige, Aoife Dunne, Diane Kelly and so many more — they were all brave enough. They spoke up.

What amazing fun was had on this years Summer School for adults "Threads of care" with @thehughlane !

"Breaking the rules" is a piece that explores what it means to make something and whether that something is Art or artifact.

Massive thanks to @cleofagan for being so supportive, kind and fun during the course 🫶

JDWOOF CYCLE 7 OF 2026: art and mental health and nature stuff

Woooeeeee such a hot cycle. I have spent a lot of it in heat survival mode.

I have noticed how much easier I find it to yield and sleep when I am bleeding. It's a nice dreamy time if I don't have to rush about. I found my luteal phase less challenging this cycle. I think being outside a lot and *not* isolating myself, helped. I'm realising more how and where I want to spend time and how I get energy and what drains it massively.

I also realised I hadn't left London since February which was tooooooo long. I don't feel very well made for this city. I'm finding ways to make it work but I do need to leave more regularly! A bit more roaming feral cat, less house cat 😺

1: today! I like spirals and drew one on my face.

2 - 6: photos from a very meaningful solstice celebration at Samphire Hoe, curated by @doctor_luke_dixon / @beefriendlytrust . My first time spending a prolonged period as the non verbal Creature.

7: back in the woods at @kinshipinnature where I'll be doing lots more work very soon

8: many many hours trying to keep cool with Aster the dog

9: I drew a few different cards this cycle, a strange maniacal cat kept appearing

10+11: prepping for a family walk/event with @hashtagjoel + @saraleej0nes - which has been happening since my mum was pregnant with me

12+13: celebrating @dama.al.madama + her friends brought art materials + it was very nice

14: Art Babies window 2 at @neighbourhoodstore_shoreham 😍🍦

15: @stevexoh took me on a walk of a special part of the River Thames + we identified plants + wrote down the creatures we saw

16: celebrating @scordoban 😍

17 + 18: a couple of photos from a great trip to North Wales with @hashtagjoel. I got to have my first ever proper snuggly sleep with Aster ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

19: bringing crafty activities to Redbridge Pride!
