POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Almost exactly 4 years ago to the day, I started my coaching business by offering people donation-based card readings on an inflatable couch in various New York City parks.

Then I joined @poetrybrothel and started working late-night reading gigs at places like House of Yes and Employees Only.

I started a Moon Circle and with the love and support of places like @thealchemistskitchen I began teaching classes that combined the spiritual modalities my mother passed down to me with the trauma-informed work I had started in Social Work school, that later shifted into coaching.

In the beginning I hustled so much that it wasn’t uncommon for me to work from 8am to 2am, balancing 5-6 side hustles at any one time.

All I knew was that I was good at it, I loved it, and there was nothing else I could or would ever do again, and so I figured I would figure it out.

In 2020 I hired my first one-on-one coach and everything changed— I launched a healing incubator that had 107 people in it, and co-ran Moon Crew with my chosen family @queercosmos @ninahofnatalhome and @_wholesoul (together we redistributed over $15k in mutual aid), and got very clear on how I work and who I work with. Suddenly I was working less and making more, but more importantly I found the kind of purpose and vision I had been dreaming of for years.

In 2021, I moved to California, hired @amber_soulsisters and launched my signature business coaching program Spiritual Entrepreneur Academy. It was, by far, the most fulfilling and exciting space and I am forever grateful to the first humans who joined that program.

Tomorrow, I’m hosting my first retreat for my epic #soulpreneurs and I can’t believe I was sitting on a blow up couch four years ago wondering how I would get here. So excited to hug my clients who I’ve known forever and never met today! 💗

Also, if you’ve been thinking about it for more than 6 months…hire a coach and watch your world change in a moment. ✨✨✨

On the Full Moon in Virgo in 2019 I started a club called Moon Crew.

Part astrology, part ritual, part community, we would gather, connect and empower each other.

On the Full Moon in Leo in 2020, fellow Leo rising @queercosmos joined me to co-facilitate.

Two months later, when the pandemic hit, we brought Moon Crew online.

What began as an astrology club became a hub for sanctuary, social justice and redistribution of resources during an undeniably impactful and transformative time.

Colin and I were not complete until @ninahofnatalhome and @_wholesoul joined our facilitation team. A little quad of mutable signs, we have gathered to plan and create 18 ceremonies together.

Since April of 2020 our community has raised $13,514.27 (there may be a few late sent Venmo donations that I missed!) for charities across 3 continents, including incredible causes like @freedommarchnyc @transanta @ufwupdates @twoc_collective @fairfightaction @forthegworls @thelovelandfoundation and many more, including for our INCREDIBLE interpreters who have provided free ASL translation for our last dozen or so ceremonies (thank you @probonoasl and special shout out to @awkwardaries!)

Over 200 people from four continents have tuned in to Moon Crew, and it has easily been one of the most impactful and profound undertakings of my career.

We are a cosmic family ✨💜✨

And, we have decided it is time to pass the torch.

Moon Crew has always been about the community. It exists for the people. Ninah, Camellia, Colin and I are so excited to be giving the next phase of Moon Crew to the capable hands of my incredible clients @marisolvibracion and @kristinagonzalez_.

Join us, tomorrow night, for one final ceremony and sweet send off.

Moon Crew will continue (and we may be back to guest host!) but you’ll be enjoying different leaders now. We hope you can make it to say goodbye (and also to help us raise as much money as possible for @transanta before the holidays!)

Link in bio and see you tomorrow! ✨

Join myself and Riss Cottrill @allmyancestors for the Gemini full moon ceremony on December 16th, at 8-9 pm EST (please adjust to your time zone)! ⠀
⠀
As we approach Yule/the winter solstice, the days become shorter, and the sun’s strength dwindles. This symbolizes a time to quiet the mind, and go within. The winter frost brings a great stillness, and we must move with this magickal season by creating space for relaxation, and reflection. ⠀
⠀
Gemini, however, is generally quite a busy energy. It serves as the divine messenger, receiving and delivering all kinds of information. Therefore, this is a powerful time to download necessary insight (especially with Mercury forming a trine to Uranus) into our current circumstances, but Jupiter reminds us that we must create spaciousness for this happen. If you’ve felt like you’ve been navigating through the dark for a while, it’s time to stop resisting it, and sit with it. Deeper truths and insights will emerge when you stop, ask the right questions, and play the witness to your mind.⠀
⠀
With the Gemini full moon making a square to Neptune, this is a great time to process information through creativity - like poetry, journaling, and storytelling. Riss will be discussing the astrology, and shadow work in greater depth, and then I will dive into some solstice storytelling, and guide us through reflective writing. ⠀
⠀
The ceremony will be hosted on zoom, and there is an entry fee of 13$. You’ll receive details for the ritual via email. Also, if you can’t attend live, Riss will be recording the ceremony and sending it out, but you will still need to pay the entry fee. Just please let Riss know you can’t make it live and want the recording.⠀
⠀
See you there! All details to sign up at the l*nk in my bio.⠀

Make sure you set a reminder for tuning in with us on IG Live next week on the 16th at 1pm CDT!

Join the one and only Ninahcorn and the Space Færie Puck (me, me is the Space Færie) for a chat about playing in the quantum field, the stars, and honestly whatever we are drawn to talk about.

@ninahdavis of @natalhome.life and more is an intuitive guide, astrologer, and purposefully open channel to relay messages you are looking for. We've been brought together through TheAlgorithm™️ (very Age of Aquarius, no?) on this timeline and we have been having so much fun being kindred spirits hundreds of miles apart.

Whatever happens on this chat, it's going to be a blast! You won't miss out because it will be saved as an IG TV video. Woo!

It makes a lot of sense if you are worried about the impending doom of climate change, economic crisis and general seemingly inevitably bad outcomes on our 🌍.

Something that helps me that @aoc always reminds me of is the surprise ingenuity of people to come together in a moment of crisis.

She says that we could sit in the space of anticipatory doom, or we could recognize that the most powerful moments of collective shifts came from deep need in times of struggle.

When I tend towards despair, I remember the people, places and ideas that have not only been bright lights in dark moments, but have actually helped empower movements that are making real change. (BLM is a magnificent example of this, as are LGBT and NB movements and the examples of social activism we have seen shift the mindsets and hearts of millions of people in the last year, many for the first time ever.)

It is a slow process, or so it may seem to us, but also how often is it that people must be pushed to their limits in order to change their ways? And this is not to diminish the REALITY of the very real and ever present struggle that faces billions each day, but rather to remember beneath that that we are actually capable of making shift happen, and we have.

If you find yourself in a doom spiral, I recommend a little folder of saved moments of remembering our collective power.

If you’re in need of spaces like that, I hope you come to my next full moon club, because that is exactly what we build there.

I love you. 💕

Thank you to these people for inspiring me to remember collective power in dark times.

This will be my second chat over IG Live with another person! And I am so pleased that it is none other than the magical and fabulous @ninahdavis of @natalhome.life and beyond!

We had this beautiful rendezvous out in the field that came together and culminated over the course of 6 months, (long story short, I got the impulse and instruction to do a painting for Ninah, and it was received at the exact right moment it was meant to be received in) and we are thrilled to be talking about all things consciousness and vibes.

Join us on Thursday, 16 September at 1pm CDT for a chat about spooky cool functions of the universe, the stars, and whatever the heck else comes up.

See you there!

Below, a 💗 letter to the 🌕 in #Scorpio.

In search of ritual in conscious community? Join us at #MoonCrew this evening for ritual magic, meditation + manifestation.

ASL interpretation provided. Put your pronouns in your Zoom name plz- tix in bio!

Mama 🌝,

They say that in your fullness something is revealed or illuminated. This morning I found myself face-to-face with my grief.

I’d been trying to choose an empowering narrative. To turn toward the future I want to build + not cave inward to the hollowed crevice it felt like was dug into my chest.

The center meridian of my body was gaping like a bruise, reminding me that life is part of the process of dying.

When I find myself stuck in a spiral of heavy emotions I often seek to alchemize them. Make them into something productive, something of service, a lesson.

And I guess what you illuminated this morning in meditation was that to alchemize without fully FEELING would be to bypass. I had sadness. It needed to be fully felt to move.

The intensity of sadness can bring you to your knees, and from this space I kiss the 🌏 and affirm that I am so held. My sadness is like a poetry that weeps forth into the earth, watering new life and new spaces of self understanding.

Mama 🌝 I am open to all that you might teach me...and though this is not my favorite lesson, the grace of sadness amazes me.

I’d been hiding away from it for many moons now. I remember a time a few months ago I could barely cry.

And so I see this as progress but it also feels so dense. I wonder how often people fully allow themselves to fall a part so that they may find what ever was stuck in the center of their guarded emotions.

It’s a brave job to shine a light in there, Mama Moon. And perhaps a much more necessary part of alchemy than I had previously realized.

Thank you for your lunation, illumination and your love.

Yours In Service,
Cara

🎼Shoutout Notes🎵
Every person following this account👀, backing on Kickstarter (we’re over 70% funded right now!)🟢, rooting for The Ostinato Oracle’s future🔮 has given and is contributing to its fullness of life.🌱There are, however, a few key souls💞 that gave to this deck before it was ever brought into the world!🌎 They enabled it to be in the first place!✨Please read and swipe to be introduced to some incredible, genuinely beautiful people.💫

@ninahdavis – She has granted me the astrological, divine guidance to work with who I am and what I was meant to do, and enabled this deck and its specific concept and purpose to come to be. One quote from a session that sticks out, “Can you now express that beautiful heart of yours so you that can get the valued returned back to you that will nourish you and create more nourishing opportunities as you give and receive...there is nothing to fear.” I encourage everyone to book a session to meet with Ninah.💜

@hollyenchanted & @celestialesther of the @wildlytarotpodcast – The resources they shared on their podcast led to me discovering how to help actually take tangible steps toward creating a physical deck. Their love for tarot and all things card-related sparks joy and comes through with such authenticity and realness. You should totally check out their podcast or visit their site (they have decks and they’re amazing!), you’ll stay for the smiles and delight these two bring into the world!💛💛

@ebritt73182 – A brilliant editor and former colleague I now get to call my friend, she tidied up my Gemini long-windedness I had in the guidebook’s first draft. She helped bring cohesiveness and clarity to the words with her attention to detail, and immersion into the message itself, and refined the copy to a level of professionalism needed for its now final version.💝

Happy Pisces Season to you all. I am excited for the end of the astrological year and soon to be renewed with fiery Aries on March 21st 2021!

I’ve always been fascinated by the Pisces Being. Here on Earth can be difficult for them because the natural vibration for them is more “extra terrestrial” ! They are beyond the feelings of just “sensitive”, it’s other worldly!

I myself have Pisces located in three of the twelve Astrological houses, 8th, 9th, and 10th! Then because it rules the 12th and Neptune carries its tune in my 6th house... That’s FIVE of the 12! Holy Moly!!!👽Talk about some Piscean energy making some pool splash bombs all over my Astrological Blue Print!

My mid heaven is also in Pisces and beyond that I’ve had some amazing one on one experiences with my youngest brother who was born on Feb. 22nd!

To view the world through a Pisces can be oddly rewarding and at the same time super frustrating ! Haha. But I love it all the same!

Remember Pisces being the 12th sign and ending the Astrological year is indicative of the very fact that they hold a space for every sign before them. As an Astrologer I’ve always viewed Pisces as the ability to Be Everyone ! Think about how beautiful and strenuous that can be!

Listen to “I’m Every Woman” by Whitney Houston and you’ll get the jist. If it was the Pisces theme song it would be “I’m Everyone!”

Love you all!

Just a little #LeoFullMoon reminder.

Worthiness is not a quality. It’s your birthright.

You have those dreams for a reason. Don’t let society or other people’s opinions weigh heavy on your dreams.

Take the first of Leo and ignite them into the air of Aquarius.

I want to see your dreams made manifest, because I want to co-create a better world. You are needed in it. The fully expressed you.

Join @_wholesoul @ninahdavis @queercosmos + me for #MoonCrew on Thursday. All proceeds benefit @forthegworls. Together we meditate, manifest, talk about important and relevant topics through the lens of astrology, and make some magic. PS. We will also be dancing to fierce Leo Queen #whitneyhouston 🦁 👑

Tickets in my bio!
