My Sister’s Wedding, a movie…through my eyes

Spent the first day of 26 in a home away from home. One of our Uber drivers gave 4 key mantras to live to be 120, and this feels like a good place to share ☁️🫧

1. Lead with love and kindness in your heart, always.
2. Get rid of the fools.
3. Get up and MOVE your body.
4. Feed and fuel the temple.

Adult friendship is a funny thing.

Sometimes it’s not “let’s be friends.” It’s just… you keep seeing the same person. Same spaces. Same priorities. Same kind of grit. Similar humor. 😊

One day folds into the next. Then a month becomes a year. A year becomes two, three, five, ten, eleven. You remember each other’s stuff. And suddenly it’s a meaningful friendship.

I met Wes around 2015, when @studiothree was basically a baby. Then he left Chicago. Then he came back. And somewhere in the in-between, we became real-life buddies- off and on the mat, off and on the treadmill (def not the rower! 😉).

And today- Jan 8, is his final day in the city before he heads south to ATX. So naturally, I closed the “Chicago Wes” chapter with a triple: interval + Hi-Def + 3x3.

Why? Because if you know Wes, you know he doesn’t do anything halfway… he brings the JUICE and all the BUTTERCUPS. 🧃

@showdub is the kind of person who makes you want to show up bigger, laugh louder, and push a little harder.

And of course say… DILLY DILLY🎈🥳

Chicago already misses you and your commentary.

And Austin…you’re in for a treat!
