A paper thin game that's as thick as a tree, join me for a lightning review ✏️⚡️

What I mean is that Paper Mario is a lengthy game which is very unusual for this series. Aside from the repetitive nature of Mario Kart or Party, most mainline games are around the 10-15 hr mark. However, I finally clocked this one at 38 hours!

As I have never played the original so I did love this new side to Mario and the interesting characters you team up with. I did think it was getting a bit long-winded towards the end however but ultimately enjoyed my time with it.

The gameplay was pretty easy and chill, which was perfect for gaming in bed or when I didn't want to try 😂

Have you played Paper Mario? What did you think?

Switch 'em all!

With my latest completed game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, that concludes my goal of finishing every mainline Pokemon entry on the Nintendo Switch! Although some may debate this as being a "main" game as it doesn't include new Pokemon as per usual, although the length and quality suggests otherwise.

I had always been curious about this since release and just hadn't got around to it until I saw it on Facebook marketplace for a bargain! Imagine my surprise when it seemed better and smoother than the most recent Gen 9, Violet and Scarlett. I thoroughly enjoyed the real-time catching and battling of the pesky little critters, and the story was way more intriguing than other games from the series.

This also seemed like a perfect time to finish up, considering the next Pokemon Presents will be next week on Pokemon day itself, 27th of Feb! (28th here for Aussies). I really hope we either see a new Legends game or a remake of the classic Gold/Silver series!

Have you played Arceus? What announcements are you hoping for next week?
