WEATHER ANYTHING IS BACK!

We are stoked to announce our second intake of mentees as part of our Weather Anything program. If you are between the ages of 16-21, living in New Zealand and looking for a bit of extra support - whether it be in achieving your goals as an athlete, a creative or a community based outdoors person we want to hear about you and see how we can support you.

The program is over a two year period and allows you to connect with the core Gritt crew, Weather Anything alumni and our amazing network of friends, brands and whānau.

Applications officially open 25th of August and close on the 10th of September - but don’t let that stop you getting in early.

Spent a chilly night in a tent with @joeleep and @gme_au last winter.

Luckily we didn’t have to pull the PLB, even if it was tempting for the bush bash out. It’s still a non negotiable piece of kit for trips like this!

iPhone BTS - Stewart Island / Rakiura Part Two

Notes: Flour Cask Bay is a gem, although, the fresh water source quality still tbc. Cooking on the fire is one of life greatest pleasures. Thanks @adielawrence for lending us the pan.

Winter didn’t show up in the form of frost and snow. Oh and it was dark a lot, also mysterious hunter ‘Barry’ was lost and then luckily found! We made friends with some great South Islanders in Chew Tobacco Bay, and enjoyed a few of the other fantastic hunters & DOC huts scattered around the island.

Thanks everyone and especially @njpascoe for the trip. Also @leaftfoods for the nutrition 🙏

7 days for the circumnavigation and we had about 10 days of food so that’s a success in my book. Oh and PSA, lined gumboots are epic until you get water over the top..

And of course, we concluded as we started, Pascoe happily with a big bag of @yumgranola
