4th annual trip to @sojospaclub and today we reminded ourselves why we even planned a trip in 2023 in the first place (other than we focking deserve it) and the true reason I won’t get into on here but instead leave you with @jmilsky16 ‘s words…

“If you’re lucky enough to have a group of mom friends in your corner then you know they share a special and unique relationship. These women often have only known you as a mom; they may hear stories about you being fun in your 20s or partying in college but as far as they are concerned you are more likely to throw it down to a Blippi song than the top 10 hits. We may not have known each other that long or see each other as often as we would like (especially since getting the group together takes a Doodle poll and months of advanced planning) but in many ways we know more about each other than friends we have shared decades worth of memories with. I owe so much of my motherhood experience to these women.“

13 moms, 8 butterfly clips, 5 pizza pies, 1 party bus back to the 90s/00s! 🎉 We may not have known each other 30+ years ago but we gladly traveled back in time together last night. When life didn’t feel so heavy.

Annual reminder to take a day off work and spend it at @sojospaclub with your mom friends ❤️ send this to a friend!

Making friends as an adult is hard! Maintaining those friendships is even harder so when I look back to 2020, it’s wild to think we met as moms of infants, desperate for friendship after newborn phases in lonely Covid lockdown and now we’re discussing sleepaway camps, cell phones, and perimenopause 🤪 we have been through so much as women and as mothers these past 4.5ish years and I’m holding onto you all for many more! ❤️

Before kids, @rondeep.dutta ’s birthday was where’d you see old friends you hadn’t seen all year, friends you’ve been meaning to make plans with and it hadn’t happened yet but everyone always came out to Dutta’s birthday 🥹🥰. Life looks a lot different for many of us and we’re all a bit spread apart now but this weekend was a glimpse of the *new* Dutta birthday rager. A giant playdate for kids young and old to entertain each other so we can catch up on life. Sure it feels silly to throw a birthday party for a 41 year old but what’s wrong with wanting to be surrounded by all the good people in your life (at least) once a year?

“As you get older, you really just want to be surrounded by good people. People that are good for you, good to you and good for your soul.” - unknown

Thanks everyone for coming! It really came together in a few short days so I apologize for all the missed invites. March is HARD for me! Let’s run this back in September for my birthday 😘

Part 2 of my 8th birthday 🤪

If I could tell Summer 2020 Jackie, sobbing at the thought of moving out of our NYC 1BR apartment, not being able to stroll Baby 🥟 along the East River or have picnics in Central Park…that we’d be moving to the cutest small town and meet amazing moms and that many of our pre-parent friends would also make the move to the suburbs and that we would fill our backyard with family, friends, and neighbors…it wouldn’t be so bad. Grateful grateful grateful ❤️❤️❤️
