A huge thanks to everyone who came along to the Private View last Friday. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet some new ones too. Your support means a great deal!

For those who couldn’t make it, Cut From Reality is open until Saturday 17th October. Hope to see you there! x

We have a couple of lovely studio spaces that have recently come available at Sunny Hill.
One is on the ground floor with easy access and lots of natural light.
The other is a large room on the first floor with a huge wall of north facing windows.
Both spaces are available to local artists, designers and makers, on flexible terms.
Come and join our amazing creative community @sunnyhillstudiosbruton
DM us for more information and to arrange a viewing.

Rare chance to hang work in the homes of collectors, some first time buyers, some coming back to add to their collection
•
With the majority of my work sold in galleries you rarely get to see the artwork in the collectors homes.. sometimes after a private show such as the one @no6bruton you get to deliver and hang in person..

Although far from the smells and sounds of the sea, Parker is insistent that even on a rural high street, we understand our lives as dependent on, and affected by the sea.

Parker’s practice, shaped by an ethos of fixing, adapting, and making do, favours simplicity and directness. His work engages with the overlooked and the discarded: what’s dumped, broken, or left behind, as a way of thinking through self imposed peril and how we might live otherwise.
