« Innutajt ukoll il-kura speċjali li l-kollega tiegħi Yvonne kienet qed tinvesti fir-relazzjoni tagħha mal-kampjuni tad-demm — kif kienet qed tħares lejhom, wieħed wieħed, tara liem hu mdardar, liem fih il-lipidi, liem għandu bżonn iċ-ċentrifugazzjoni, jew it-taħlit — l-għarfien, tassew, huwa intimu ħafna. Imma għala dir-relazzjoni mal-fluwidi fit-tubi tal-ħġieġ tevoka tip ta’ sensazzjoni differenti fija (insejħilha kura, attenzjoni) mentri għarfien simili ħafna u profond tad-deżiderji tal-magni, li wkoll huwa fehim sigriet, intimu u privat tal-“ieħor”, ħafna drabi nħossu bħala frustrazzjoni? Għalfejn ma nirrabjawx mal-likwidi talli ma jtuniex ir-riżultati li nixtiequ, imma niffrustraw ruħna mat-tekniki, mal-magni, talli huma difettużi minnhom infushom — jistabbilixxu limiti, kriterji ta’ aċċettazzjoni, imbagħad ifalluhom? Il-fluwidi jiġu analizzati b’parametri differenti — imdardar, aħmar, abjad, wisq volum, mhux biżżejjed volum, vojt, mimli — dawn deskrizzjonijiet kwalitattivi, mhux kwantitattivi; u probabbli dawn il-kwalitajiet jiddettaw relazzjoni differenti. » https://aphroconfuso.mt/ira-melkonyan-ma-noah-fabri-djarju-2022-11-24-id-djarji-tad-demm-3/
