Some Tomfoolery with @kieransbd 😝😝

Awesome support from the fam 🫶🫶

Awesome support from the fam 🫶🫶

Thanks to @noah.g_83 for staying and supporting me 🙏 (he also had a great day)

Great to be apart of such a great team @uopower

Thoughts: definitely not the day that I wanted, or expected going 7/9 with a 660kg total, but having a short prep of 8 weeks post centrals I can’t be too mad at myself. I know there’s lots if work to do, and I’m extremely excited to add size and strength during this long off season. I want to thank @apexbarbellclub for hosting provincials, along with all the refs, handlers, and staff that supported this competition all weekend!

@adamvoutier I’m hungrier than ever. Lets get to work ⚔️⚔️

OPA Jr. Provincials 83kg Champ 👀🔥 702.5kg total, 9/9 lifts

Somehow pulled another 700kg+ total out of my ass after maybe my worst prep ever. I haven’t hit a single rep PR since Nationals (~6 months ago), and my training total this prep was a whopping 680 🤯

so glad we were able to pull this meet together @misostrong
shout out to my goat and Lover @alleeyeet for the endless support ❤️
congratulations to @kareem.yns and @noah.g_83 on your podium spots, I hope to compete against you guys again soon 👀
@trinity.barbell thank you guys for hosting such a great meet
shoutout @buffeescoffee for the cortado before squats, definitely needed that

252.5kg / 557.8lbs squat (+2.5kg PR @83 and @93)

Insane turnout for squats. My best single this prep was 235 @9 with hella adductor pain so this was absolutely not in my cards today. 2nd attempt top end was 240 off of a 225 opener, but miso loaded 245 on 2nd without telling me after seeing my goated ass opener. Once I saw it on ArenaPL I genuinely hit the lock in of the century.

time to build off of this massive W and squat 600 👀

160kg / 353.8lbs bench (-10 @83, -15 @93)

bench regression silently crept up on me 😭. Miso and I really only realized this when we handed in my third attempt card as something that was an opener at some point.

gotta turn that 160 back to an opener or even a warm-up room weight soon

290kg / 640.4lbs deadlift (-10kg @83 and @93)

went pretty much as expected. 3rd attempt top end was 290-300 and the plan was to go 6/6 then hit a safe 3rd deadlift to secure the win.

still got work to do though, 290 is pretty shit to my standard. I need to breach the 700lbs barrier hopefully by next provincials

INSERT CHEESY BREAD

team cheesy bread…?? i guess

Athlete highlights #25 @untappedpwr

530 lbs / 240 kg + 7.5 kg ATPR & 22.5 kg over the comp max. Noah’s been on an absolute tear, we will be building into Jr provincials in 2 months where an entirely different @noah.g_83 will step on the platform.

286 lbs / 130 kg x 3 pretty massive set. Larsen press has been a big contributor to Alex’s bench surging recently. The stability demands have him much more aware of the way he needs to set up. comp max sitting at 140 kg 3 months out! @yakattack75kg

462 lbs / 210 kg ATPR @reimerstrengthandpower
The blue has been destroyed. On and off discomfort has made training difficult to navigate. Chevy has been putting in the work and putting on tons of muscle regardless. The power is there, Next comp will be amazing.

331 lbs / 150 kg x 2 (2 sets) massive volume PR for @peter_mcguey - upper body has grown immensely. Pressing power is through the roof regardless of the pad he’s pressing on.

275 lbs / 125 kg x 3 PR for @nmjaviii
Few months ago this was a rocky single.

Athlete highlights #14 @untappedpwr

512 lbs / 232.5 kg x 1 ATPR & first 500 lbs squat for @noah.g_83 Noah has had the strength for over 500 lbs for a few blocks now, but our main focus hasn’t been on expressing the top end as much, just putting in work and letting the top end rise. For a young man, Noah has incredible patience, laying the ground work for these massive strength increases.
+ 15 kg / 33 lbs over the meet pr from August

528 lbs / 240 kg x 2 paused PR for @daavidman , block 4 back on the team after taking the summer off, regained back a good amount of strength and size. Snagged this paused 2rm before getting back into work capacity mode so we can see Dave at his healthiest and best yet later this year.

265 lbs / 120 kg x 3 new 3 RM for 3 sets! massive volume PR for @_allenkung this is a typical end of block single in a peaking block for Allen. Getting a well deserved off season after 4 competitions with many pr totals in 2025, this break will continue to pay off big time.

445 lbs / 202.5 kg ATPR for @dwebslifts
Back above all time PR numbers across the board for Dillion (numbers dropped hard after the bodybuilding show) still got like 10 lbs to gain 😡 EAT Dillon.
Competition next month, time to PR that damn total.

441 lbs / 200 kg for @brahimdeiaa 5 months ago 160-170 kg was the top end. Now 200 kg is moving like a warmup. Super excited to blow past this. Still lots to clean up tech wise, and the ceiling will continue to rise as we do.
