The TAF changed overnight.

It’s 2026, why are you still stitching together weather, NOTAMs, route, and departure time across separate screens?

Your EFB should show what changed for this flight. That’s the Tropiq we’re building.

What do a game of chess and IFR flying have in common? More than you might think♟️✈️

When ATC clears you for an approach, there’s a lot of information to process and remember. One helpful trick? Break it down into manageable buckets.

And seek out the patterns. Pattern recognition is key for closing the gaps in your learning and getting your IFR.

What are a few of your favorite IFR training tips and tricks?

Private equity bought @foreflight, then built an insurance agency meant to serve new pilots and CFIs.

It could have rewarded great records, safety training, and top instructors.

Instead, it automated a marketplace for the pilots who need an advocate most.

Algorithms don’t fight for better premiums. People do.

Does a faster airplane actually save you time? ✈️

In the case of this Beechjet compared to Noah’s TBM, the answer is… not really.

So, which side are you on? Team turboprop or team jet? 👇

@foreflight’s new insurance agency is competing with brokers that already exist. So what does that mean for pilots?

For a 5,000-hour ATP-rated pilot with a proven track record, maybe that doesn’t mean much.

But for a newer pilot, it could mean everything.

Newer pilots don’t have a proven history. And now, instead of a broker advocating for them and helping find the best rate, they have an agency promising a quote in 30 seconds.

So when the largest EFB company, with access to all of your data, promises to spend “30 seconds” on your quote, we wonder: is this actually helpful?

The largest EFB company, owned by a private equity firm, recently launched an insurance agency to compete directly with the brokers already serving pilots.

And despite having access to all your data, ForeFlight isn’t taking the time to understand your unique situation as a pilot. Instead, it’s replacing the personal relationship and advocacy of a broker with a faster, more automated process.

What is your biggest challenge related to getting insurance?

Technology available in other industries a decade ago still hasn’t made its way into the air.

With his background in tech, our founder, @noahinflight, set out to change that by building an EFB that acts like a copilot, not an electronic filing cabinet in the right seat.

No more digging through layers, tabs, and metaphorical “cheat codes” to find what matters. Tropiq surfaces the information you need, when you need it most.

Some views just never get old.

Where are you flying this week?

I’m Noah, the CEO and founder of Tropiq, and I’m relatively new to aviation.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve founded, built, and sold tech companies. But, three years ago, I took a discovery flight that changed everything.

Since then, I’ve earned my commercial and instrument ratings and logged more than 1,200 hours in helicopters and airplanes. But, the more I flew, the more I noticed something I couldn’t unsee:

Aviation technology was behind.

I saw problems that other industries had already tackled with better data, better tools, and smarter technology. I kept asking myself: Why hasn’t aviation caught up?

Earlier this year, I stopped asking and decided to build the answer.

That’s Tropiq.

And we’re just getting started.

I’m Noah, the founder of Tropiq, but I’m also a pilot.

I got tired of seeing aircraft accidents happen and feeling like technology could, and should, do more to help.

In a world where your phone can order dinner, your car can warn you before you drift lanes, and AI can generate images you’d swear were real, aviation technology should be keeping up.

Your EFB has the data. But it still makes you connect the dots.

That’s the gap Tropiq exists to close.

We’re building a copilot that looks ahead, understands your airplane and route, and surfaces what matters before you need it.

Not more information.
The right information, when you need it most.
