Third time knitting up the #PopsicleTank, and I actually knit it to pattern this time 😅😁🥰 I had this cotton yarn from Daiso for years, and I finally found a use for it! Hanging onto summer while we can here.

Finally posting FO pics on a Friday! 😆😅 As promised, here are snapshots of Bestie in action with his newest sweater. He chose the yarn from my stash himself, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out 🥰. With how much the weather has been fluctuating lately, it has already gotten a lot more wear than I thought it would, so no complaints here!

Thank you to @noelle.knits for letting me test this pattern. I definitely need to add the adult version to my queue! Cuz if you know me… You know I always love a matching moment with Bestie ☺️.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Hi, my name is Theresa — I’m a mom and a military spouse. I knit and crochet as a creative outlet, and sometimes I dabble in calligraphy too. Here in my corner of the Internet, you’ll find me sharing about my hobbies and life with Bestie, my son.

A late post of finished versions of the #longlinepullovermini test knit because I wanted to get both girls together. I found the purple yarn at a second hand shop and used a blue yarn from a trip to Oregon last winter so I ended up making t shirts instead of the full long sleeve version but it’s actually perfect for a California summer. This design is simple yet elegant and is great for an evening knit while chasing two energized kids. Now I need to make a version for myself to match them 💕

I was flying through the Hannah Cardigan until I hit the double-knit button band. It turned out to be a total slog (which I probably should have anticipated!). But even the most never-ending button bands eventually finish, and my daughter now has a new cardigan just in time for the cooler weather.

I was also amazed by how much the half-fisherman’s rib stretched out. Even with the designer’s warning, the growth—especially lengthwise—took me by surprise. Honestly, it’s a blessing in disguise. With how fast my daughter is growing, she usually outgrows everything in a single season, so hopefully this gives the cardigan some extra life!

A little late to the party but congratulations to @noelle.knits on the pattern release for Long Line Pullover Mini! This was such a fun project to knit up for Bestie, and the vertical lines create such a unique point of interest for such a classic staple sweater.

I’m already trying to capture all the memories with this newest addition to Bestie’s knitwear collection 🥹, and I think I need to make an adult sized one to match with him. Maybe Hubs will want one too??

More close up pics of this sweater to come soon… but for now, I’m out! ✌🏼

It’s release day for the Long Line Pullover Mini by @noelle.knits - I was lucky enough to get to test this cute sweater and it was a fun and quick knit! And it’s 50% off right now for the release!

The simple slip stitch pattern was potato chippy - I just always wanted to get to the next one! It also adds a bit of visual interest but is simple enough to look good in a variety of yarn, and was easy to fix when I inevitably missed one! Not to mention Sarah just recently released the grown up version and you know I’m a sucker for mama & mini matching!

As soon as my little had this on, she was running all over the backyard playing - it did not slow her down one bit! And the fit she threw when I finally made her take it off! Needless to say, it’s a hit!

I knit the size 3-4 for my tiny just 3 year old and used fingering weight held double from my stash. I sized up a needle size to get gauge. I cropped the body a bit from the pattern so for now it’s a cute oversized sweater but as she grows it will be perfect for wearing cropped over dresses.

Oh and the construction is fun and I love the thought put into the little details. I usually dread picking up stitches and mine always look messy but for the shoulder seam here, they leave a nice clean line! And if you read ahead a couple rows, it’s easy to make sure you pick up stitches in the right spots so your slip stitches line up nicely!

💙 happy release day 💙

The Long Line Pullover Mini is a must make for all the little ones in your life! The elegant slip stitch pattern creates these beautiful lines and makes the sweater impossible to put down. It is worked top-down, allowing for the perfect fit or easy length adjustments as kids grow 🙌

This was my first time working with Cottino and I am excited that it is machine washable, making it so perfect for kids garments. I need to order more to make sweaters for all 🥰
