This was truly the most amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience and I’m so grateful for women who are here to live life and make memories together.

NLC Kentucky was proud to host the 20th Anniversary @newleaderscouncil National Convention in Louisville this past weekend! We were especially proud of our alums, Basel Touchan, Nicole Aghaaliandastjerdi, and Teddy Hobson for sharing their Spark!Talks and for Kinsey Woodson winning the Power of Stories Award.

We want to thank all of our alums and friends who joined us and the amazing national NLC staff who worked extremely hard to make this event as impactful and welcoming as it could be! 💚

Our 2026 Fellows graduated from New Leaders Council’s (NLC) Institute, and we couldn’t be prouder!

Thank you to our keynote speaker, Attica Scott, for inspiring our Fellows to be impactful changemakers; to @wukyradio station for hosting us once again; and to Shefa Sikder for sponsoring our graduation. 💙

This class represented diverse communities across Kentucky, including Louisville, Lexington, Paducah, Berea, Eminence, and Louisa — and included the highest percentage of rural representation we’ve ever had. Their perspectives and leadership strengthen our entire commonwealth. 🐎

Our Fellows are already teaming up to found nonprofits, start businesses, run for office, and launch projects that will move Kentucky forward. 🌄

Congratulations to AJ Garnett, Basel Touchan, Chelsea Kirk, Gregory Mitchell, John Bowman, Leah Van Winkle, Michael Massey, Morgan Jones, Robert May, Stephanie Bellot-Donaldson, and Traci Simmons! 💚

Welcome to the NLC family! Our commonwealth is stronger because of you.

DiverCity Festival 2025. 🇺🇸🌎

In 2019 we decided to create event that brings people from all backgrounds together. 5 festivals later and we are bigger and better than ever. This year our festival was the @250lexington cornerstone event for Diversity Month. We are very grateful to the City of Lexington for their continued support.

Seven hours, two stages, more than 35 performances including headlining @honeychildlex and the legendary @teedeeyoung_blues. More than 70 vendors - food, art, retail, nonprofits, and more. Our city showed up and showed out.

I’m so grateful for our small but mighty crew @mkunjoo, @mrcoachadair, @noelosborn, @kislingjeremy, Brad Ingram, and our extended fam at the @historiclyric

Special thanks to my Mom and sister for constantly supporting. It means the world! @mamabibbluvsu @baby_bibb17

Excited for what’s next.

A day at the track with my girls. 🏁🏎️ The rain tried to stop us, but the show must go on! We ended up with a perfect race day and a battle all the way to the finish. Its always going to feel different without my dad, but I know he’s proud that we continue the tradition. 24 years and counting…🩷

Little bit of life lately!
.
Admittedly, I am not the best at taking pictures, and I often wish I had more material to share. However, I regularly remind myself that my lack of pictures means I was busy enjoying the moment instead of worrying about trying to capture it in a photo. So if you’re like me or not, we’re all just out here life, laugh, loving.

Ok it’s been over 24 hours so now I’m ready to talk about it. Renaissance was nothing short of incredible. From the outfits, to the crowd participation, to the storm that waited until the concert was over - Monday night was one for the books! And the moment she sang the first verse of River Deep, Mountain High (original by Tina Turner and cover by Celine Dion) it brought an actual tear to my eye. Beyoncé, you are everything and more. And to the girl sitting in front of me that turned and asked when the show would be over, I wish it never had to end. 💜🪩👑🐝

What. A. Weekend.
.
First I got to celebrate my bestie marrying her soulmate. We laughed. We cried. And we danced until we couldn’t dance anymore. 💍👰🏼‍♀️💃🏼
.
Second, I got to spend a day with my day 1’s at the 107th running of the Indy 500. This was my 23rd consecutive race day, but the first without my dad. He made sure we had perfect weather and an exciting race up until the very end. 🏎️❤️

Now that we’re back, it’s time to ride!

Dolly says never take life too seriously and always remember to have fun. I’d be silly not to take her advice.
