Proud wifey moment. @nohochmacruns didn’t grow up hunting and learning the sport throughout his childhood. This is something he had to pick up on his own. He decided a couple years ago the honorable thing to do is be aware of where our food comes from and appreciate it more. To put the work in...so he did! His first spike. Todd let James tag along and showed him all the tricks of the trade. We will forever be grateful to him. So glad he is a part of our lives. Thanks @chefbriggs_13 for all your help too! You guys are the best!!!

James and I woke up at 4 am and were headed to the airport for a Hawaii trip to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We got to about Lehi when another truck hit black ice and slammed into us. Airbags went off (burned James arm) and it was terrifying, but could have been a lot worse. After the accident I started having the worst abdominal pain I’ve ever experienced. I couldn’t take it anymore and so we headed to the ER. They did a scan and said my liver enzymes are 10 times what they should be, possibly from the trauma from the accident. They decided to admit me and will monitor my levels through the night. If they don’t go down, they will do a scope in the morning to see what’s going on. So Hawaii has been cancelled and James’ poor brand new truck that he has had for just 3 weeks is totaled…but we are alive which is all that matters!

Happy Birthday to Miss Jaylee! Sweet 16 today, doesn’t seem real. We celebrated at the zoo again like last year. I love this girl more than she knows. She is so kind, so funny, and the best daughter anyone could ever ask for. Hope you have the best day ever Jay. I love being your Mom ❤️❤️❤️

AI efficiency just means we can do more of the pointless things we love. Pointless for AI, invaluable for humans. Purpose in life comes from building, testing, challenging yourself. Art, music, sports and personal progress will always be worthless for AI, and the most purposeful to us. We just have to keep moving, keep building, that’s where we will always find purpose, and AI can’t take that from us.
