POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Ten full years of Roll With the Punches. Damn, I feel old. I could go on and on about how this record has changed my life, but I’ll try to keep it as brief as I can.

This record was a collection of songs five pop-punk kids wrote in high school and just after graduation. We had no idea these stupid songs about getting dumped or wanting to grow up too fast would resonate with so many people. But they did. Because of that, these five pop-punk kids would get to travel the country, meet amazing people from all around the world, and live out their wildest dreams.

This era of my life holds memories I wouldn’t trade for anything.

There are so many people that helped contribute to this record in some way shape or form. But I will keep that list brief as well.

I want to start by thanking the very talented @stetsonwhitworth who tracked and mixed the record. He took a chance on some highschool kids. He saw something in us and not only produced the record but taught us so much about song writing, the music industry for bands starting out as well as gave me vocal lessons and helped me become a better vocalist over all. Working with him also sparked my interest in music production and so many of the things he taught me, I use in my routine today.

I want to thank @manickatrecords as well. Their CEO Peter James also saw something in us no one else did and took a chance on us. There are so many ears across the globe that would not have heard these songs without them. They gave us so many awesome opportunities throughout our time with them and we are so very grateful.

Next up are my brothers in @noise_brigade. Where do I even begin? We love you guys so much. They took a chance on us too. They took us on our first tour which opened so many doors. To this day they remain some of our closest friends and always will.

Last but not least I want to thank the four other men who poured their blood, sweat, tears and souls into this with me:

@cosmicbrother
@houstonwehaveabong
@devin_drums
@sadhouseband

We made something beautiful boys. I never could have lived this dream without you. Thank you.

posting late pictures from new years eve and then 17 other pictures to attempt to sum up the year

I got engaged, went on 9 tours, traveled too many miles to count by bus/van/car and took 34 flights including two trips to alaska. I was only home for 104 days this year which feels nuts but I got to see so many friends during that time and still manage to rot on my couch too.

thanks to everyone for your company this year, whether it was for a day or 15 weeks, I’m so excited to see what next year holds!!
