I got 3rd place in the AFBA Newcomer 2026 category AND WON THE KIKKOMAN CHALLENGE!!! 😭❤️

First of all, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH to everyone who voted for me, supported me and believed in what I do. This wouldn’t have happened without YOU! 🥹🤍

And winning the Kikkoman Challenge with my Zwetschgenknödel with soy caramel means SO MUCH to me! I spent so much time experimenting with this recipe, and knowing it was chosen as the winner makes me incredibly happy 😭

Seit April wird jeden Donnerstag mit dem Verein „Küchenschiff - eine solidarische Nachbarschaftsküche“ im Bezirk Margareten gemeinsam gekocht und gegessen. Jetzt veranstaltet der Verein, zusammen mit Popchop, der Caritas und der Unterstützung der Köchinnen Lisa Machian (Café Cache),Rebecca Spanos, Nargi und dem Community Cooking der Caritas das Küchenschiff XXL. Die Kirche im Caritas-Projekt „Kirchenschiff“ in der Siebenbrunnenfeldgasse wird dazu in eine große Gemeinschaftsküche verwandelt. Komm dazu und lerne von den Expert:innen über die Zubereitung der verschiedensten Gerichte, oder werde selbst zur Chefköch:in und trage mit einem Rezeptvorschlag bei. Von 16 bis 19 Uhr werden die verschiedensten Gerichte in den Koch-Teams zubereitet.

Die Plätze fürs Kochen sind begrenzt. Anmeldung per DM an ‚kuechen_schiff‘ oder per Mail an kuechenschiff@protonmail.com. Wenn du eine Rezeptidee mitbringst und Lust hast ein Koch-Team anzuleiten, bewirb dich bei uns mit deiner Idee.

Anschließend startet um 20 Uhr das gemeinsame Speisen. Das Festessen wird musikalisch von Patrick Pulsinger eingeleitet. Kommt mit Freund:innen, bringt Hunger und Durst und freut euch auf vielfältige Speisen und einen festlich-herbstlichen Abend! Speis und Trank gegen Spendenempfehlung. Alle Spenden kommen dem Verein ‚Küchenschiff – eine solidarische Nachbarschaftsküche‘ zugute. Wer mitkocht, speist umsonst.

at brunnenmarkt, these chanterelles immediately caught my eye, so obviously they had to come home with me.

i turned them into miso chanterelle pastina creamy, buttery and packed with umami.

the idea of this series is simple: i go to a market, choose whatever seasonal ingredient inspires me, and build a dish around it.

Yesterday reminded us why we do this. 🤍

Plot Twist: We Made It wasn’t just an event it became a space where people showed up as they are. People laughed, reflected, shared stories, celebrated themselves and trusted each other with parts of themselves that don’t always get the space to exist.
