Since it’s the the new year I want to re-introduce ya’ll to all the Merica Lee Jeans styles. Here’s gorgeous @nomadicgriot 🔥 wearing the 👉raw Indigo Classics👈 these are my very first style. Ⓜ️I made these bc I was looking for a my perfect pair of jeans. I was touring/playing a lot with @thenakedheroes and I wanted something that I could wear all the time, every day and would still be tight (not stretched out of shape like stretchy jeans) and could hold up to NYC life. Ⓜ️I wanted to use raw denim bc I like the fit and fade of @georgicologne ‘s blue jeans. But I wanted a sailor shape - a high waist and a wide leg. Ⓜ️for the denim I chose a 14 oz denim from #kurokimills - Kuroki has been making denim since the 1950s and is in a part of Japan that has been growing cotton and indigo since the Edo period over 400 years ago AND they have a strong tradition in water sustainability. Ⓜ️as with all my jeans, the Classics are made with classic workwear techniques. The inseam, outseam AND center back are all #flatfelledseams Believe me that’s strong (and cool!). Ⓜ️these jeans are meant to be bought really snug so that you wear them a ton and then they give to your shape. Once they stretch out (after wearing them every day for 2 weeks), they’ll fit perfectly every time. #givetofit Ⓜ️hands down the raw Indigo Classics will give you the best fades. Ⓜ️available in sizes 00-20 💙the raw Indigo Classics definitely take some work to make them fit perfect but it’s well worth it.
