Bodies in lace, chimerical thoughts
masks with thousand voices : it means no fixed center, just a continuous flow of sound, attention, and connection. A liminal space to pause, to dance, to watch and reconnect.

MELISMA X MAHALLA
☀️ Day time Concerts ☀️

@nonagonforest
Nonagon Forest is a collaboration between multidisciplinary artists Federico Focha and EIREEN. Inspired deeply by mysticism and their practice as counselors, their love for exploring existence through symbols, archetypes and mythology comes to life within their music.
Live-loopings of guitar, percussion, flutes and other instruments melt with their voices, making every performance a unique experience.

Our last event during the Trauerwoche 2025 initiated by @trauer_taskforce will take place on November 2. Together with artist @salvador_burrell_f we welcome you at ahorn Space. Also: it is our first anniversary!

You are invied to remain silent, close your eyes, and connect fully with sound. Two sound meditation concerts will allow you to immerse yourself in your emotions, revisit memories of loved ones who are no longer with you, and reflect on the present. You will be guided to first connect with your breath, and then with your surroundings. The title of this event comes from a poem by Violeta Parra, paying tribute to the deceased:

"They take him into captivity
to the earthly prison
they are going to deposit him
in the garden of silence."

You are encouraged to bring a candle and place it on the altar. You may also bring photos, flowers, or other personal items that symbolize loved ones who have passed, contributing to a ritual dedicated to honoring the deceased.

The first concert, performed by XIVIS (@sophisticatzo, @salvador_burrell_f), and the second, by Nonagonforest (@nonagonforest), will feature high plateau sound meditations using wind instruments, bird sounds, bowls and wooden instruments, Andean percussion, and typical Latin American folk instruments.

The event also celebrates the first anniversary of ahorn Space, we are looking forward to integrate this milestone into the evening’s reflective and communal atmosphere.

In the Garden of Silence: November 2, 5 - 9pm.

Simply register via our website or the event ovierview in our bio to join.

🎨The Berlin Art Week was quite a ride!
Very grateful for the calm and sacred space that we established within our exhibition
LANGUAGES OF ORIGIN!

So many people gave us feedback of how much they enjoyed our room and its performances.🥰

While many things beautifully aligned themselves, other things were very challenging and did not go as planned.

We learned so much and made some mistakes for sure! Learning is doing, and doing is so rewarding as it brings experiences and memories. Knowing that we are capable of so much more than we sometimes estimate ourselves to be.. and having
the right people at your side to tickle it out of you in the right moments.. 🌱

And also knowing where you may have underestimated something and humbling yourself to acknowledge room to change!

Taking in this wisdom as an eclipse offering...
Offering myself to the depth of this learning experience, and the portal of transformation that
we feel our beings journeying through...

🤝This was a co-creation from so many hard-working people who dedicate their lives to their craft!
Big thank you to

🌟🎨 Two weeks ago we were part of the @berlinartweek with our exhibition LANGUAGES OF ORIGIN! 🌿

Federico and I, as @nonagonforest curated this installation and had the honor of being hosted by @mahallaberlin. It was a beautiful opportunity for me to also share some of my canvas paintings. 🎨

The whole week was rather wild and surreal... It was an intense and curious journey, as MaHalla is a space for all kinds of experiments forms of art and experiences.

I am blessed to have stepped out of my comfort zone with this one. For sure, I learned a lot about what I didn't know before. 😅

So grateful for everyone who supported this happening in becoming possible!

To get a little peek, watch the upcoming reel! 🤩🌿

🌈🌝We will be at the @evolve_festival again this year to share our
🌟 EMBODIED ASTROLOGY WORKSHOP!! 🌟

If you are a spontaneous bird and want to join in 2 weeks, you can get a discount with my artist code #Jen2024.

I would love to see you there! We are also performing a special
🎶 CONCERT as NONAGON FOREST.🎶

It's a truly beautiful festival. Community based, substance-free, health and healing oriented, a lot of FUN and beautiful beautiful people & connections there. The space is at Helenesee in a magical patch between forst & water.

Can highly recommend. Also a SAUNA space, a lot of dancing and some amazing concerts this year e.g. @facesoul will perform ;)
