Connection… it’s what it’s all about.

It’s what we as humans need more than ever. In a digital world, you can’t beat an in-person experience and meeting people for real conversations.

This is one of our whys behind Rising Tide.

Connect. Communicate. Inspire.

We have a show starting on Monday at @almaartspace of our ceramics and some other bits n bobs (T-shirts, stickers, prints, good times)

We have been killing ourselves getting things ready and still have 3 kiln firings to do in 3 days to get things ready. Type B meet ADHD 🫶🙂

Someone the other day described it as a love letter to tourists which I liked but it’s also a lot of love for locals.

If you’re in Cornwall, please come and check it out! We will be open for 1 week with it every day 11-3 except the parties on Monday & Saturday which are 5-8pm

Hopefully see you there!

🌊 Rising Tides Festival 🌊

What a fantastic weekend!! I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of being invited to not only facilitate my Queer Ecology Workshop but to also be a speaker on a panel discussing all things LGBTQIA+ in Surf and Conservation! 🏄‍♂️🏳️‍🌈

Two full days of the greatest conversations teaching people all about the incredible marine animals we have on our coastal doorstep, using a collection of my ethically sourced specimens and artefacts, and deep diving into what makes nature so inherently queer! 🦴✨

It was brilliant to share the stage with Radio Presenter @jack_murley and @steph_barnes_xo from @queersurfclub, a first for me taking on a panel and hopefully not the last! 🎤

We spoke about the importance of community and how the ocean is a magnetic force to create such a safe space for us (yet being so wild and unpredictable!) and how it is so important for us LGBTQIA+ folk to have those places. All while exploring queer ecology’s progression into today’s society and how it challenges what so many of us know about the natural world - One lesbian seagull at a time!

I met so many incredibly people doing fantastic work in both the Surf and Conservation community and even bumped into some familiar faces 💕

Thank you so much @risingtidefestival for the opportunity to work with you and be apart of something very special and to @newquay_orchard for a stunning venue space! 🌊🍎

Thanks for an amazing weekend at @nancarrowfarm! Lovely people, great vibes and amazing food 🫶🏻 I’m so happy lots of my pots have found new homes. And I loved seeing my jugs and ramekins at the bar and in the restaurant. Even spotted one of my travel cups in the wild.

I’m definitely feeling festive now. Hope to see more of you at my other upcoming markets. You can find me at @theheadlandcornwall on Saturday and @limehouseyoga on Sunday ✨

Just a little nudge: if you’ve got your eyes on something don’t wait too long…. Items are running out of stock and I won’t be able to restock them before Xmas. Thank you so much for supporting my work!! 💕

Also massive shout out to the best @clairepauldraws @nonaldrinks @jjjoshuuaaa @aliciab.studio @denzelduzceramics and @aral.farm for all the laughs and cuddles and keeping the fire going this weekend! And the amazing staff and all the other lovely traders 🫶🏻
