SPRAY THE SEED Project

SPRAY THE SEED Project

This sculpture, intervened by artists @o.senhor & @spraylover86, transforms an object associated with violence into a visual message of reflection.
The weapon appears with its barrel twisted into a knot, a symbolic gesture that breaks the narrative of aggression.
Hand-painted by both artists, it creates a dialogue between tension and softness, reality and metaphor.
A weapon that doesn’t wound, it questions.

This Human Rights Day, our community initiative @projetosomar.pt helped convey a powerful message of hope and unity through creativity.

Children from PRODAC and @santacasalisboa teamed up with artist @o.senhor to paint a knotted gun sculpture — a global symbol of non-violence. The final masterpiece was revealed on 10 December: the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Human Rights in 1948.

Their vibrant artwork reminds us of the strength in community and the importance of standing together for human rights. Thank you to everyone who helped make this moment so special. Let’s continue to create, collaborate, and inspire positive change through creativity.

Today is Non-Violence Day.

A day to reflect, a day to act. 🕊️

In a world where violence in all its forms, whether physical or mental — continues to harm individuals and divide communities, the need for change has never been more pressing.

From global conflicts to personal struggles, we must choose a different path — a path where empathy, dialogue, and respect replace aggression, intimidation, and harm.
Violence, whether it’s a harsh word or a physical blow, is not inevitable.

Together, we can educate, inspire, and empower one another to resolve conflicts peacefully, without resorting to harm.

Today, we reaffirm our commitment to create a culture of non-violence, to lift up our communities, and to teach future generations that peace is always possible.

Join us.
Support change.
Choose peace.
