A very nice cruise from just below Wharton's Lock to just before Cholmondeston Lock, 6 miles, and 6 rather well-behaved locks! The weather was nice, not too hot, although it seems we are in biting horsefly season. 🦟 We met Ken ( @normoldog ) and Kate at the first lock, where they gave us a hand and we had a nice catch-up chat, but of course I took no pictures! 🤦‍♀️ Two years since we've seen them, lots of water under both our boats! Today was just a brilliant summer cruise, with ducklings, wildflowers, sunshine and gorgeous countryside!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone that gave up their time and money yet again to help raise just under £20,000 to help keep us afloat for another year ☺️

Hey @narrowboatmama @normolddog @canalrivertrust @moodymangoalchemy maybe I should try and harness some hydro power from this lot flowing under my ‘garage’ (work in progress hence ‘’ but more a case of finding a builder who needs the work :) #riverdee #hydro #waterpower

STANDING AT THE SKY'S EDGE OLIVIER WINNERS - We are over the moon to share @skysedgemusical brought home not one but two awards last night at the @olivierawards.

We all know how epic the whole production is from start to finish don't we Sheff? But how fantastic that it's been recognised on such an incredible level.

The Musical firstly won 'Best New Musical' written by the amazing @chrisbushwrites and secondly won 'Best Original Score or New Orchestrations' which went to Sheff's own musical and lyrical legend @richardhawley & Orchestrations from @_tom_deering_. 🤩

So @skysedgemusical does this mean you're coming back to Sheff for more? 🤗
