![[Passing the Baton at North West Youth Assembly! 😉🌟] Spent a wonderful afternoon with some 90 young people from our North West Youth Assembly (YA), celebrating our YA25 graduates and welcoming a new team of leaders 👍🏼
We also had a good conversation about youth volunteerism, why young people step forward, what keeps them going, and how we can give them more room to turn their ideas into action 💪🏼
Congratulations to Darryl, Elly and Kaizer, who will lead the newly elected YA EXCO for 2026–2028! 🎉
Leadership isn’t just about having good ideas. It’s about listening, bringing people along, and sometimes doing the less glamorous work that nobody sees. I’m looking forward to seeing what the new team will bring to the table.
To our outgoing EXCO, thank you for two years of hard work, commitment and leadership. You’ve helped build something that the next team can carry forward.
And to our YA25 graduates, congratulations! I hope the friendships you’ve made and the experiences you’ve gained will stay with you long after graduation.
What I enjoy most about working with our youths is that they aren’t afraid to question how things are done. And that’s a good thing. We need fresh perspectives, new energy and people willing to try something different.
Thank you to every YA member who has given your time and effort to serve others. Keep challenging us, keep coming forward, and most importantly, keep enjoying what you do! ❤️

![[Mental Wellness Day @ North West]
Had a very meaningful afternoon at Mental Wellness Day @ North West at @northpointsg, where residents came together to learn more about mental wellness and how we can better support one another.
I had the opportunity to tour the various booths and interactive exhibits, as well as engage with families & community partners.
Also participated in a Shrink Art workshop specially organised by our very own @neesoonlink Community Arts & Culture Club! An enjoyable and creative activity that reminded us that taking time to express ourselves, connect with others and simply enjoy the moment can also contribute to our mental well-being.
Let’s continue to look out for one another in our communities & in our neighbourhoods.

![[North West CDC Appointment Ceremony]
A privilege to attend the @northwestcdc Appointment Ceremony, together with PM @lawrencewongst and fellow Advisers recently.
We welcomed new CDC leaders and members who will serve our communities across the North West District.
The CDCs play an important role in connecting residents with support schemes, community programmes and assistance, while working closely with grassroots organisations, partners and agencies to strengthen our community.
My appreciation to our GRLs for their contributions over the past term. At the same time, we warmly welcome new appointees, including Dr Poh Kay Wee, PBM, who continue this important work for community.
Looking forward to working alongside our community partners to support initiatives that make a positive difference for residents.](https://s5.imginn.com/831237133_18018089309953095_2037896314206277031_n.jpg?t51.82787-15/831237133_18018089309953095_2037896314206277031_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s828x828_tt6&_nc_cat=105&ig_cache_key=Mzk5ODI0ODQwMDQ2MTk4MjAzMg%3D%3D.3-ccb7-5&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=58cdad&efg=eyJ2ZW5jb2RlX3RhZyI6IkNBUk9VU0VMX0lURU0ueHBpZHMuMTIwMC5zZHIucmVndWxhcl9waG90by5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=x5rOIZ7ovdkQ7kNvwE7NSBe&_nc_oc=AdqLAhlL-WYUlUV5LTJqA3GoKAzcMrnUfvkumS9MLmvuOHMKVoSxahYBqd41xJhSxG9TDjGGuj0slVhF0TJTakAF&_nc_ad=z-m&_nc_cid=0&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-2.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=HPMlM33-w2pXBJ60J1KHSg&_nc_ss=7a20f&oh=00_AQNU2PXaxjL9wImFAdmSclJUrb4sYbnZR5twzYvvnRsRjA&oe=6ADEF657)
