TOBE Tuesday ✨ Inviting medical office spaces! In this Georgetown physical therapy office we blend modernity and warmth by infusing exposed elements with the softness of warm lighting, cozy seating, soothing colors and captivating artwork. Natural light now permeates the once closed off reception and individual, carpeted rooms ensure patient privacy.

There is something special about running within a group of people. The miles clip along and the conversation flows. You get to learn about yourself, your neighbors, and the community you live in.

The DC running community is unlike anything I’ve experienced before and whether you are looking to just get into running or to set a new marathon PR, there is a group for you with runs throughout the city every day of the week!

Allow this to be your guide to finding that running group for you and happy running!

Had a great time learning Functional Dry Needling from @eimteam this past weekend to add another tool to the toolbox in order to get our runners crossing the finish line!

This runner was experiencing lateral left foot pain throughout his past Spring training block. Throughout his @rundnasystem assessment and gait analysis, he consistently demonstrated increased left lower leg adduction while on his left leg. This was leading to excessive load on the side of his foot with each stride.

With a minor cue to widen his stride and a few corrective exercises, he is back to building his mileage and workouts on the track pain-free!
