Honestly though, sexy jokes aside (lol) being the people behind this page is an absolute honour and privilege that is not lost on us.

Over the last few years we've met the most incredible humans, chefs, bartenders, business owners, performers, and absolute legends who just love this city as much as we do. Melbourne, you are something else.

And as a new Australian citizen 🇦🇺 getting to call this city HOME? I don't have the words.

I know I am VERY late to getting around to posting this one, but I couldn’t let it go unposted because I loved this one!
I really loved the entres- the cacio e pepe hashbrowns were super tasty! I loved that they were a nice and crispy with a GENEROUS (and appropriate) amount of sauce on top.
The tortellini de zuccs was such a showstopper!! Both beautiful and super tasty. The fried sage on top was such a treat. One of my fave pasta dishes I’ve had in a hot min 🔥
The pork loin unfortunately was my least favourite of the menu. I found this dish lacking a bit of flavour and the pork was quite chewy/hard to cut!
Iceberg lettuce wedge… NEVER something I would order for the table as my mind instantly goes “ew lettuce” like a 5 year old, but the way the dressing and pesto made it taste like HEAVEN was so surprising to me!! Super yum!!
Tiramisu was a little too boozy for my preferences lol defs the first taste that hits you!
Was super excited to finally get a booking here, after I tried their residency at @thegembarau I was sold! 😄
Thanks Nostra, and great job on the crazzzyyy successful spot! Can’t wait to see what is in store for you next.

🌹 LONG LUNCHES 🌹
If you couldn’t snag a table during @nostra.kitchen ‘s residency at @__onlys___ then feel free to keep scrolling — no hard feelings. For those lucky enough to score a seat, the consensus was simple: fuck, that’s good.
Oysters garnished with a fresh citrus dressing were accompanied by their house-made focaccia, served warm and tearing delicately between your fingers and teeth as you bit into the soft sourdough. The pet-nat that we washed it down with kicked like a mule and made my head swirl with the smug satisfaction of having secured a table on the final day of their residency. The hash browns, topped with a pecorino cream and black pepper caramel, had a crispiness reminiscent of the Mediterranean coast.
We were lucky enough to experience the return of their infamous lasagne: gooey layers of al dente pasta, stacked between slow-cooked love and oven-kissed cheese. The tables were thoughtfully laid with fresh flowers, and the afternoon sunlight caught on the rim of glassware, providing the warmth you’d feel while sitting in Nonna’s dining room.
The whole experience was 🤌 mwah 🤌 chef’s kiss 🤌 and alongside the better part of Melbourne, I’m salivating at the thought of where Nostra’s next pop-up kitchen will be.

Time well spent for me is choosing to enjoy these experiences with those around uuu, living it full the best I know howwww is with amazing fooood and people (as well as alone, cause I Iove being a loner on my laptop)

@omi.australia - bakery, matcha and wagyu concept restaurant. Soo unique, I love it

@nostra.kitchen - that was the best pumpkin tortellini I’ve ever had!

@bouvardiamelbourne - moody hidden bar with the most creative cocktail concoctions

@izakayamiyazaki - their 8 course filled my and my gals tummies with lots of love through @eatclubapp

@kumoizakaya - sushi tacos 🥹

@kori_icecream - Japanese inspired flavours! Black sesame and the miso banana..

@livingstone.melbourne - from Bali.. the nasi goreng was better than Bali!!

Hosting @nostra.kitchen was way bigger than any of us imagined but we were so excited to see ONLYS hum and guests leave so satisfied!
