BOOK CLUB WITH @notation_media 🍷🍊⭐️🪰

Hosted at @barevelyn__ 💜 Omg!! What a night!!!!

I genuinely loved every minute of this! The gals, the food, the wine and most importantly, the conversations! 😭 There’s just something about sitting around a table with a bunch of amazing women, unpacking real topics and hearing everyone’s different perspectives that makes me SO happy! I left feeling so bloody fulfilled!!!

And can we talk pls talk about the book pick?! FRUIT FLY by Josh Silver 🍊

This genre is not something I thought I would typically reach for BUT WOWWWW am I glad I did!!! An unhinged, dark and ridiculously clever read!!!! (swipe to the end for my review)

READ IF YOU LIKE:
🍊 Satirical takes on modern culture
🍊 Completely unhinged behaviour
🍊 Unlikeable but fascinating characters
🍊 The messy world of publishing
🍊 Extremely dark comedy
🍊 Multiple perspectives
🍊 Cliffhangers that leave you SCREAMING

@joshsilverauthor pls put me out of my misery and tell me there’s a sequel 😭

SEPTEMBER WRAPPED 💌✨

September actually ended being such a good reading month!!! I finished ⭐️ 11 books ⭐️ and had FIVE 5 star reads 😭 absolutely no complaints from me!!

There was a little bit of everything this month from fantasy, romance, ARCs, book club reads and a couple of those were from our very own!!! Shout out @anneka.rose.burrell_author & @amgold.author for the release of their amazing works!!!! So special which made the month even sweeter 🥹🫶🏼

Without dribbling on I think my fave reads were The Throne of Broken Gods and Once, Again, Always!! Threshing Day was also incredible! I’ll need to do a re-read a to the sap because woah, so many 🥚!!!

And now onto my 🎂 October hopefuls 🎃 aka birthday month + spooky month so obvs I’ve made a completely reasonable and not at all ambitious TBR 😂

Bookclub this month was hosted by the one and only @lilloveslit where we all packed our bags and headed to blue country where our gal lives, so NATURALLY a sleepover was had! 🤭

🪩 What was your favourite read of September + what are you most excited to read in October?!** 👀📖✨

June-July camera roll 🌟

ft. growing two businesses and a tiny human in the same year — plus every trip we can squeeze in while this season is still just us.

@infix_studio is in its stride (our best year yet).

@notation_media has found its legs (and working towards a huge milestone at the end of the year 👀).

And our baby has officially learned to cartwheel through my insides.

Three months until we meet our little guy 🥹 The goal for now is simple: do the work, and enjoy the in-between moments.

Some things resonate. So we went to capture why.

We’ve recently had the pleasure of stepping behind the scenes with @ycl, @modalita.vacanza , @coffeeatcosmos and more.

Swipe to take a look. ⭐️
