📍 Edinburgh……. The city that means so much to me ❤️

Day one done and 4 places that is worth visiting:

1, Thistle Street Bar. The most quaint little old pub get there nice and early the seats go quick !

2, The Gently Mad
Bookbinder & Antiquarian Bookseller. If you like books and a little bit of oldly worldly then this little place is ideal. We even picked up a 1st edition Harry Potter.

3, The Dome, an 1844 Graeco-Roman building which was originally built as the grand headquarters for Bank of Scotland. It’s now one of the best places to visit for a cocktail, food or even a pot of tea and scone ☺️ PS……. Must visit at Xmas it’s spectacular!!

4, Noto the restaurant. Wow ! That’s all I can say. A Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded sharing-plate restaurant and the lamb was literally the best thing I’ve ever tasted !!

@notoedinburgh ,Edinburgh’da ödüllü şefin imza dokunuşlarıyla öne çıkan, Michelin Rehberi’nde de yer alan restoranlardan biri. Küçük, samimi ve oldukça karakterli bir mekan. Az ve öz menüsüyle, paylaşımlık tabakları var.

Biz Noto’da yediğimiz her şeye bayıldık! Özellikle kendi imzaları olan, İskoç yorumuyla hazırladıkları Noto Bun (Bing Bread) inanılmaz lezzetliydi.

Menüdeki her tabak çok başarılıydı ama aklımda özellikle Chicken Katsu ve Kimchi Beignet yer etti. Ana yemeklerden tercih ettiğimiz Beurre Blanc soslu, havyarlı Monkfish de gerçekten nefisti. Tatlısı da ayrı güzeldi

Edinburgh’a yolunuz düşerse buraya kesinlikle gelmenizi öneriyorum. Yalnız önceden rezervasyon yaptırmanız şart, mekan oldukça küçük.

Videoda biraz sesli bir ana denk gelmiş olsam da aslında loş ışıkları, sakin ortamı ve güzel ambiyansıyla özellikle çiftlerin çok keyif alacağı bir restoran.

We recently had a wonderful meal at @notoedinburgh for Aaron's birthday and of course we had to try the whole vegan menu 🌱

Here are some of my highlights! The cocktails were also fab 🍸

Dinner at📍Noto feels like an extra special treat after 5 hours of plane delays.

My boyfriend has been raving about the crab butter for ages which I finally got to try for myself. It’s certainly eye catching served in a crab shell. The “butter” was very rich, almost like a thinner hollandaise with lots of crab meat.

My favourite however was the BBQ Monkfish, which was surprisingly tender & delicious with the beurre blanc. Another notable mention is the Steak Tartare with nori waffle.

We also tried:
🥚Truffle Chawanmushi with Parmesan: a much richer nonetheless delicious version of the steamed egg I know (there was a cream poured on top?)
🦐Prawn Toast: a little too oily for me
🍫Chocolate mousse with icecream: great for any chocolate lover

- north sea crab, warm butter & gluten free toast (the best!!!!!!)
- isle of weight tomatoes, nori, goats curd
- bbq monkfish, jersey royals, beurre bean
- lamb rump, aubergine xo, broad bean
- crème fraiche cheesecake, sake sponge, strawberry
