Yesterday, we had the honor of playing in the 5th Annual Amun Bourdain Memorial Golf Tourney at @fairwaysofwoodsidegc to honor a life taken too soon in Monnie ❤️🙏

Many attendees are former teammates and friends of Monnies from their time @nicoletknights where Monnie starred in basketball and track.

Each year it is so special getting together with great friends but more importantly, even better people in our #Milwaukee community.

Advocating for my autistic child means fighting for understanding, inclusion, acceptance, and in a world where they learn and process things differently 💙

Some days it means speaking up in classrooms, IEPS, appointments, and public spaces. Other days it means simply reminding my child that they are loved, capable, and enough exactly as they are.

I will continue to use my voice until every child with autism is seen, heard, respected, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Behind every strong child is someone refusing to give up on them. 🌎✨
