THE NEXT RENAISSANCE This Frieze Week, Renaissance-21 comes to art’otel London Hoxton for a conversation on heritage, contemporary culture and the future of artistic creation. Exploring how cultural memory can become a living source for contemporary art — and how heritage continues to shape new artistic voices today. With Chidi Nwaubani — @chidi.co Alexandra Dolgosheina — @dlgsheina Teodor Doré — @teodordore Moderated by Nour Saleh — @noursalehs Producers @slice.of.alicelife @viktoriya_pakhomova6 The conversation takes place alongside Chidi Nwaubani’s Mbari Memorial: What Cannot Be Returned, Must Be Reconceived, presented at art’otel London Hoxton during Frieze Week. Inspired by the Igbo tradition of Mbari, the award-winning project brings together sculpture, digital environments and interactive technology to explore cultural memory, restitution and collective creation. Following the panel, Chidi will personally lead guests through the exhibition, revealing the ideas, technologies and cultural histories behind the work. 18 October 2026, 2 PM art’otel London Hoxton Frieze Week London Part of Renaissance-21 Festival 2026.

~ We absolutely loved Nour Saleh coming to spend a day with us at Snaresbrook Arts Project. Nour’s workshop incorporated drawing, play and dance for our service users, based around the theme of food and the cultural memories that are evoked through food and cuisine, with a particular emphasis on Nour’s Lebanese heritage. Nour Saleh is the founder of Art Breath ( @artbreathorg ), in addition to being an artist, moderator, writer and co-founder of Art Journeys. She is a graduate of Central St Martins: BA Fashion Print; SOAS university: MSC International Politics; Camberwell College of Arts and University of the Arts London, Foundation. Nour has hosted multiple art sessions and workshops, and has moderated and developed events on the arts, ‘In Conversations’ and book talks. ~ Snaresbrook Arts Project (SAP), founded in 2008, is a day service supporting adults with learning difficulties through arts and crafts. The visiting artist workshops at S.A.P are facilitated and organised by @lbcuratorial . ~ #snaresbrookartsproject #visitingartist #artistworkshop #noursaleh #lebanese ~

« I guess we are all just trying to navigate, just trying to get through the best way we can, and I talked about it at the time, we’ve not got just what we have to offer economically but obviously what we have to offer as human beings, and that’s partly our compassion and our kindness, so we are much more than economic in a sense, we have other attributes to offer as well » — Michael Landy - Acts of Kindness The great #MichaelLandy @thomasdanegallery ✨ speaking of #ActsofKindess , on humanity making us reflect ✨ Acts of Kindness during this period of time and everyday✨ TheArtsShowUsTheWay The Arts are the way #ArtsPower full conversation in bio ✨Reflect✨ Pics courtesy and copyright of the artist Michael Landy and @thomasdanegallery more info for art @thomasdanegallery Exhibition by Michael Landy currently on at Hastings Contemporary until March 2026 Check it out✨ In pics, pictures of ´Acts of Kindness’ ‘Closing Down Sale, Karsten Schubert Gallery, 1992, Michael Landy´ and ´Break Down’ . #ArtBreath x #RSA ✨🎄

Nobody’s Listening is a Virtual Reality (VR) experience and exhibition, amplifying voices of survivors from the Yazidi community and ethno-religious communities in Northern Iraq, through the tool of art and technology, both merged as the VR—“Nobody’s Listening: The Forgotten Voices of Sinjar”—a virtual experience and an immersive sense of artworks, and through an art exhibition. Founded and curated by exhibition director @rxdsouza and art director @dijondajee @nobodys_listening_exhibition is co-organized with @yazdaorg and Upstream XR . We spoke to co-founder Dijon Dajee Hierlehy MA on the roots of Nobody’s Listening, what it entails, the VR headset, the exhibition, the artists, the continuous work the platform is doing, helping the Yazidis and the other affected communities, and what the VR and art is propelling. Read more link in bio on this pivotal communicative and educational tool in technology and art, the important exhibition, the impact of the art filled with deep expression and artistic talent. The painful emotions the artists have experienced felt across the art, leaving the viewer in awe of the survivors’ courage.
