Ambitiously fought through jetlag and a 7-hour drive from NorCal to SoCal that morning to place top 8 with this round at @whackinglosangeles @colorswhackingfestival rookie battle that night 🥹
It’s only been a year and a half since I started battling and I’m usually self-critical in the pursuit of wanting more from myself so it helps to have good people around, not just to provide feedback, but also to remind me that whatever I’m doing, keep going 💪🏼

2024 Summer Dance Forever Wh/aacking Prelim 💪

Attending Summer Dance Forever on a whim in 2022 was what inspired me to want to really hone in on my fundamentals and build up to entering battles. This was the most nervous I had felt entering a prelim, and I was feeling so nauseous building up to my number (NUMBER 88!) but I’m proud of myself for committing and not bailing last second like my brain was telling me to do 😅.

Finalist last Saturday at the GQ Ball waacking & House battle with my inspiring dance partner of the night @censei7 ⭐️

I couldn’t be more grateful. Sharing space with the house, waacking, and vogue community was a dream come true. Thank you @shireen.or.shea @rama_mahesh_hall @str8jacket_ and @oaklandtoall for making it happen ❤️ I had the best time and will cherish this memory.

Thank you @karlita_creates and @bloom_blap for the best music 🤌🏻

Last battle I did, @gbaridenzel was judging. His kind and supportive words really pushed me to go further. Making it to the finals at a battle for him was the greatest honor.
