Stepping into the home studio of multi-disciplinary artist Ahmed Partey (@ahmedpartey ) felt like walking through a portal to Africa’s rich history and ancestry. Surrounded by his art inspired by Ghanaian masks and the essence of African heritage, we explored the soul behind each brushstroke. It was an honour to interview such a visionary mind, whose art stands as a tribute to safeguarding the symbols, markers, and tokens of African tradition. His serene and welcoming space set the perfect tone for a conversation about the stories his art tells. Each of Ahmed Partey’s masks speak in silent poetry, bearing witness to the enduring power of culture.
