A special moment during Indigenous Round ❤️💛🖤

Our 2026 Youth Ambassadors had the incredible opportunity to proudly hold the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags at the Rabbitohs v Bulldogs game.

The students had an amazing time and felt incredibly proud to represent their communities on the big stage!

A moment I’ll never forget 🤍

From an idea on paper to finally handing over the finished boots to Nathan Cleary; something I honestly never imagined I’d get the opportunity to do.

When creating these boots, I wanted the artwork to tell a story. Designed specifically for Indigenous Round (Panthers vs Roosters), every element was carefully chosen to represent Nathan’s journey, his culture, the people and places that have shaped him, and the values that have helped make him the person and player he is today.

Being able to bring his story to life through Indigenous art and create something that would be worn on the field during such a meaningful round was an incredibly special opportunity. There were so many hours of thought, planning, designing and creativity that went into bringing the concept together, so seeing the finished boots in person and then getting to hand them over was such a surreal moment.

I’m so grateful to the NRL School 2 Work program for giving me the opportunity to be part of something I’ll always be incredibly proud of. This experience has taught me so much, challenged me creatively and given me a memory I’ll carry with me for a very long time.

From a design on paper, to seeing the boots come to life, to finally handing them over. I couldn’t be more proud of how this journey came together. 🖤💛❤️

🖤💛❤️ DAY 3 | NRL Indigenous Youth Summit ❤️💛🖤
Another big day for our young leaders! 🙌🏽

Day 3 was all about reflection, wellbeing, decision-making and looking towards the future — from “Making the Call” with the referees, to writing a letter to our future selves, healthy habits and State of Mind. 🧠

Then it was time to get ready and head to the NSWRL for the NRL Indigenous Youth Summit Function.

And what better way to finish the day than under the lights for Bulldogs v Rabbitohs! 🏉🔥

A day full of learning, reflection, culture, connection and plenty of memories.

Day 3 — one for the books. 🖤
