I’m so excited to be in conversation with my dear friend @sabinavaught at Northwestern next week. Huge thanks to the Northwestern School of Education and Social Policy, as well as the Departments of Black Studies and Gender and Sexuality Studies for hosting and sponsoring our talk. This should be fun!😊

Connections Health was grateful to attend and participate in the @northwesternu @sesp_nu symposium on Socioemotional Wellbeing in a Digital World last month. Co-hosted by The Center for Responsible Technology, Policy, and Public Dialogue, the day was energizing, thoughtful, and genuinely connecting – full of rich conversation about the role technology plays in our culture and how it shapes us emotionally, relationally, and as a community.

Claudia Rosen, LCSW, Clinical Director of Connections Health, delivered a Spark Talk exploring how technology shows up in the therapy room through a capacity-building lens – asking: What’s helping? What’s getting in the way? And what do we want to be more intentional about as we navigate our digital lives?

A heartfelt thank you to Claudia Haase, Associate Dean for Well-Being & Associate Professor of Human Development and Social Policy, and Sepehr Vakil, the Director of The Center for Responsible Tech, Policy, and Public Dialogue & Associate Professor of Learning Sciences, alongside the whole Northwestern SESP community – students, faculty, and local practitioners – who brought so much insight, nuance, and curiosity to this conversation. We left feeling inspired and appreciative to be part of it.
