REVIEW 📚 REVIEW 📚
2 Books I wish I had read long ago
Got soo enlightened reading these two books. I feel it’s a book just 1 read isn’t just good enough. Read them twice.

*Rich Dad, Poor Dad - Robert Kiyosaki
*How to stop worrying and start living - Dale Carnegie

Both books are an absolute great investment of time.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5
It is an eye opener on how to know how money works. I wish everyone will have the chance to read as well.
It’s a game changer.

*Personally, this book just changed my ways of thinking and how I must always look at things when an opportunity knocks at your door never let it go no matter what the price is you will be greatful later on when you start to see the profit of your hard work.

*It clears your question,"Where and why should i Invest?" Your knowledge on business and finance becomes organised. It also provides real difference between asset and liability, which will then help you to accumulate great riches. This book is a foundation for financial literacy. It is worth reading. 😍

How to Stop Worrying and Start Living - Dale Carnegie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4.5

This book provides you what it’s name suggest. It will give you incentive help like a ray of light in the darkness.
It's very simple and easy to understand.. no mind boggling and a practical book.
Go through it a couple of times and it will definitely creep into your conscious and subconscious thought.

***If you are a worrier or you know someone who worries, this book could really make a difference.

A perfect Gift 🎁 💝

𝙍𝙀𝘼𝘿𝙎 𝙁𝙍𝙊𝙈 𝘼𝙍𝙊𝙐𝙉𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿 🌍

Yay, so it's finally 2021 (the reality has just sunk in) and we are all hopeful that there is some light at the end of this long-winded and pitch black tunnel 🚇that was 2020. One can only hope, heh? 🤷

Just wanted to pop in and say a quick hi 👋 as well as shine light 💡⚡on my current #tbr! Following my tradition of picking #books from different nooks and crannies of the world, I'd be #readingaroundtheworld all year long (and hopefully land at my 2021 𝙜𝙤𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 65 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨). So here they go:

🇨🇳[CHINA]: 𝘼 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙚-𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝘿𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨: Wowwww, whatta masterpiece 😍✨Story of a young Chinese woman on a quest to learn English. Not only does she discovers her identity and sexuality deeply, but also experiences the diversity of Europe.

🇾🇪 [YEMEN]: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙠 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙤𝙠𝙝𝙖: True story of a young Yemeni American man, raised in San Francisco, who dreams of resurrecting the ancient art of Yemeni coffee but finds himself trapped in Sana'a by civil war.

🇪🇬[EGYPT]: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙔𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜: Set in a downtown Cairo apartment building, in the 1990s at about the time of the first Gulf War, this one is a scathing portrayal of modern Egyptian society since the Revolution of 1952.

🇲🇾[MALAYSIA]: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 𝙎𝙞𝙡𝙠 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮: Traces the story of textile merchant Johnny Lom, a Chinese peasant living in British Malaya (now Malaysia) in the first half of the 20th century. It was also longlisted for the #manbookerprize

Have you read any of these books? Do share your opinions in the thread below. 👇💬🗨️

Curious to know what’s in your To Be Read list, and why books you’ve been reading this month!

Also, if you’ve read any of these, I’d like to know your thought!

Let me know in the comments below.

P.S. if you’re tagged in this, you’re it!

Late to the party (as always with tags), but this one is of particular importance thanks to @aminasbookshelf, whose donating £2 for each stack until Monday ✨

#orangestacksforkidneycanceruk

Featured are some of my well loved and also newer acquisitions in my book stacks.

The most fun we’ve ever had is one of my most beloved family sagas, multi generational, fully of well rounded female characters and a lot of love 🤩

In the Dream House is a new addition, borrowed from my boyfriend and one I am desperate to get to, most recently from @bankrupt_bookworm review ✨

I’ve tagged some people but everyone feel free to join in and support a worth while cause

on a road trip today to LA to officially move out of my apartment. starting my third and final year of law school virtually at my parents’ house in Sacramento is going to be weird but here it goes. i had a good reading month this August but it might slow down since i need to raise my GPA while i still can LOL. my top’s color is a hint to what book i’m currently reading - swipe to see what book it is!
