DEPTH OF FIELD ALTERNATE VIDEO 3 // GABRIEL SHORT FILM I shot this in Toronto last year with @richiimatic & his team This was going to be the first Official video, but I was taking so long to finish the edit. I later lost the session before I had a chance to finish editing. There are a few things I wanted to add and clean up. I’m not about to start the edit over tho, so consider this the final version 🤷🏽‍♂️ Big thank you to my brother @itskirsh Big thank you to the legend @rochesterjuice Big thank you to the homies at @orfuswrapandgrill Big thank you to @richiimatic @dotcine & @matro_o Send me their handles so I can tag em GABRIEL Out Now Million Vibes to The World

DEPTH OF FIELD (Alternate Music Video) Out Now I accidentally shot 3 different music videos for this song over the course of working on and releasing the GABRIEL album. I put out the one I did in St Lucia w/ @joelpaulcinema because it made the most sense at the time. It wasn’t anything that was necessarily planned. It just happened. I think there’s magic in that. Having that video be nominated for an ANSMA Award this year inspired me to release the other two, because why not, right? This one was shot and edited by @capturedbyshumba as a test run before we shot MERCY together w/ @quakematthews I’ll drop the other one next week, along with the story behind it. Life has a tendency to move so quickly that we don’t often take the time to process or appreciate moments before we’re on to the next The Million Experience at The Marquee Ballroom on October 3 was something that we had been working on for months We had weekly meetings about it Every release, every appearance, every activation - all led to October 3 I think, now that it’s over, The Million Experience has a new meaning to me. It isn’t simply about what we left on the stage that night. It isn’t even about all the planning, rehearsing or arguing we did in preparation of that night. To me, The Million Experience is about how this whole thing has shaped us moving forward. It’s about how it helped carve out the dynamic of the group, how it forged leaders out of us, how it challenged each of us to step up in our own way and contribute towards something bigger than ourselves. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this. I can’t name you all, so I won’t try, but just know that I am grateful to you. Thank God Million Vibes to The World

You can’t plan for magic ✨ For Halifax artist @yungst4k and producer @nulo4u , studio workflow is built on pure artistic trust. Nulo never sends a beat in advance and Yung St4k improvises over it in real time. The songwriting process is like throwing paint on the canvas until a picture emerges. That synergy is how tracks like Retrograde and Smooth Sailing came to life.  You’ll hear these songs among others on ECMH this weekend, with a deep dive into four albums from each of the four Atlantic provinces. Expensive Music by Yung St4k, Rom-Com by @carolinesavoie , The In Between by @valmyvee and Character Traits by @loganrichardmusic . 🎶 Smooth Sailing - Yung St4k

My favorite parts from recent projects… I tried to go kinda cinematic with the intro. Still in a learning curve though Song: SHINE - Bode Peters, Yung St4k Loved the outro a lot. I’m definitely obsessed with playing guitar lines now. Might invest in a keytar soon. Added a lil melodic twist to this song, I’d say it turned out pretty nice. Song: E BAD - aRENYE The outro hits heavily in contrast to the bridge. Another melodic twist. If you couldn’t tell, I enjoy doing this to songs, it’s like imagining what it could have sounded like in another universe. Song: BIG STEPPA - aRENYE
