On June 16th, I passed my NCLEX and became a Registered Nurse! Blessed to say that I joined the 9% of Black nurses in the U.S. and will be starting residency in my dream specialty, labor and delivery 👶🏽🎀🤰🏽🩵. I can’t wait to advocate, support moms, and safely help bring little babies into this world! Dreams really do come true! 🥹 #newgradnurse #nlcex #laboranddelivery #womeninhealthcare #womenshealth

I am so thankful to say that on May 4th, I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Despite transferring schools and failing medsurg, I stayed the course and made it to the finish line. I overcame every doubt, word of discouragement and came out better for it. Little did I know, these hardships would make this experience THE most rewarding accomplishment I’ve ever achieved.
