Having a delicious arapas outside on this gorgeous NYC day when a gentleman came up to me saying how much he LOVED my hair, the color, & how beautiful the colors looked! He’d just finished working a fashion show that used similar colors. Little did he know @nursewretched used her voodoo magic by reading my mind @fringebaltimore to create it, when all she was given as a vision board was the music video to Red by @official_therose , & told it’s the feeling the song conveys along w/the colors. Thank you @official_therose as usual for providing the soundtrack to my life 🖤🥀🖤 As @iwoosung says #musicholdsmessage 🫰🏼#red #therosered

She gave me a new look! My bestie @nursewretched at @fringebaltimore gave me a gorgeous new look for the day! (Don't worry, she only styled it and didn't get rid of the girl fro ... that'll be back in a couple of days!)

Minutes after my flight landed in Baltimore on Saturday, I got a message that read, "You here yet? Come thru."

It was @nursewretched, my roller-derby-bestie-turned-boss at @fringebaltimore, the one job I had in my time away from radio, and I couldn't resist going straight there for a "(White) Claw Thirty".

That job and I weren't a great match, but it was the right situation at the time, and I still miss that place and all the people there.

When we did this babe’s color the last time, she told me the priority with the time we had was the copper. I put some fun little rainbows in there with @goldwellus elumen, but they were subtle, so this time, I really wanted to spend the time on the vivids.

I used @sydneyannlopezhair star placement and placed my rainbows in the high impact halo section under the points of the star to make them really pop out. No overly subtle vivids this time! We want to see those rainbows from a distance.

I’m still processing all the amazing education I’ve gotten over the last month. I feel like every class I was taking was the same, but these last few have really spurred my creative energy. 15 years into this career, and I am always seeking. That’s how you know you have a passion for what you do, and that you chose right. ✨

Our hearts are full.

The CULT+KING Summer Weirdfest 2024 is a wrap. We welcomed 100 of the breathtaking humans in our CULT+KING community into our universe, into the beauty and adventure of our hometown of Park City, and into our very lives. We had never done anything like it before. Over the three-day event, full of education, inspiration, connection, laughter, surprises, and adventures, we met so many astoundingly beautiful and uniquely courageous people that blew us away. The weekend was a treasure trove of metaphysically delicious memories that we’ll savor forever. A wondrous little pocket in space and time that crystallized perfectly.

To everyone who came, we can’t thank you enough. It means the world to us. We wanted to give you a hair education experience like no other, and send you back to your world with a warm, happy feeling of infinite possibilities. It is our greatest hope that we succeeded. Thank you thank you thank you.

We’ll be posting some of the hundreds of Weirdfest photos and videos over the coming days and weeks for all your weirdos to enjoy. Save-the-date is coming soon for Summer Weirdfest 2025.

Much love!

Can you guess whether these two are sisters or mother and daughter? How about which Fringe team members cut and styled their gorgeous hair??

I’ll give you a hint, it was @leadstylist36 and @nursewretched , but who styled who?!?!

Subtle hints of blonde to kickstart that “sunkissed by Mother Nature” look paired with an awesome cut by @nursewretched and I’d say she’s ready for summer 🤘☀️
