THIS WEEKEND: You can find our books—incuding works by Modibo Kadalie, Yavor Tarinski, Andrew Zonneveld, and others—at the @nycabf courtesy of our friends at @the_p.i.t._ 🎉 If you're in NYC be sure to drop by their table and say hello! It is very exciting to once again have our work featured at this book fair. We attended every year from 2013 to 2019 until the pandemic set in, and regrettably have not been in NYC since then. We're looking forward to returning someday soon! 📚

Forecast says 45-55 mph wind gusts tonight, so the film fest is postponed!! 🥵

Folks should still try and make it out to the book fair if they can while the rain is light! And look out for a new date sometime soon to immerse yourselves in incredible films and a community memorial for our elder in struggle, Ben Morea.

We’d love to thank @ridgewoodcommons for offering your beautiful & cozy space as a last minute option — y’all are real ones 🖤

Stay safe out there and make sure to check in on / look out for your neighbors — housed and unhoused. Make sure to check nyc.silver.is for information on shelters and food assistance!! 🌱

NEW TIME AND LOCATION - SATURDAY 1:30PM AT HIVE MIND BOOKS IN BROOKLYN

For over 5 years, In The Belly has been producing media by and for incarcerated revolutionaries. Our project is to strengthen the bonds between all of us to overcome the state’s regime of isolation, to study and learn together, and to build a world without prisons. Join us for a conversation with incarcerated writers, editors and revolutionaries, exploring the ideals behind our project, the mechanics of our inside/outside organizing model, and the successes and challenges that come with producing a publication by and for those held captive by the Prison Industrial Complex.
