BUCKET LIST: CHECK. ☑️🚴🏾‍♀️🔥 Brooklyn ➡️ Philly ➡️ the Rocky Steps 🥊 Some rides are just miles. And then there are rides that become a memory. Saturday was one of those rides. 100+ miles, two states, countless watts, and one legendary finish at the Rocky Steps. 🇺🇸🚴🏾‍♀️ I’ve had this ride on my cycling bucket list for a while, and there’s something special about finally putting wheels to a goal you’ve been thinking about for years. Huge THANK YOU to @centurypluscrew for organizing an incredible ride and, especially, for the SAG support. Knowing that crew was out there keeping us fueled, supported, and moving made a massive difference. 🙌🏾 The legs were tired. The smiles were big. The accomplishment? EPIC. On Saturday, we made our 6th Annual journey to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and we are certainly pleased to express that it was a success. No incidents, and no mechanicals. Peace & Greetings to the Cycling Community, This message is to simply express the highest level of gratitude to ALL of you for making the 4th Annual Women Led Century one for the record books. From the initial planning, to the time dedicated, to the outright willingness to participate & execute our plans, this was an amazing family affair. Thank you for the amazing work that was contributed to this ride both in plain sight, as well as behind the scenes. It was an honor to watch you Queens be intentional with what you wanted the ride to be, and see it brought into fruition. The perfect synergy of being supportive, and encouraging, while being assertive. An immense thank you to ALL of the Ride Leaders & Sweeps, and Blockers for the guidance of your respective groups from beginning to end (Even when the going got tough). An immense thank you to our S.A.G support for this ride. Volunteering your time, energy, and gas to provide support for this ride from the beginning until the end. Your presence of ensuring that replenishments were available was absolutely paramount. An immense thank you to the entire Transportation Alternatives family for coming up clutch in the Bronx @ our 3rd Rest Stop before the final stretch. Thank you for always rising to the occasion when it comes to support and overall advocacy. A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF THE FIRST TIME CENTURY RIDERS!!!
