Please join us- it’s been such a meaningful process that I feel will only continue to expand. In circular time/all time, this is an ode to maroons, resistance and refusals of Black and Brown people to liveeeee. To subvert power systems to gain life force and to remember the power and magic within us … To make way for the punk, guerilla, defiance within us that can fight, liberate, and radically dream of new futures of collective liberation

Family!!! We haven’t stop reminiscing about the reunion ❤️ 3 sold out nights where we came together, shared space, food, laughter and witnessed the power, brilliance & transformation of all our incredible performers. A couple of weeks ago I had the honor to see my brother @toofast_tiki marry the love of his life. It’s been an amazing to see how your union has blossomed from the start. Congratulations on finding your better half and I wish you all the best with your forever roomate ❤️

Working with @fulloutfarrish through both The Mercury Store and CUNY Dance Initiative (@cdi_dance ) artist residencies has been nothing less than amazing and inspiring. Kayla's ability to connect, freely express, create and bring stories to life through the freedom of bringing thoughts, dreams, inner messages and so much more to life is beautifully visible throughout the process of her work including current work in-progress- A Beast That Came Apart Mid -Air. Seeing how artists @nyla.js , @kenndances , @karmel_small , @trulifetaray , @kendall_ramirez , @marirosacrawford , @alexmakesmusic , @tashaeudo and @fulloutfarrish dedicated time creatively exploring various concepts through layers and intertwining of numerous perspectives, personal experiences and memory alongside historical and ancestral contexts created a space of commitment, trust, laughter, challenged and intensified emotions as well as deep communal growth.
