This Tuesday we’re getting introspective and embroidering notebooks… take home your very own secret diary, personalised and all.

We’ll have grid paper so you can make your own design, an assortment of thread, and most likely some other embellishments to really set you apart from the crowd.

£6 BYO, £8 journals provided. From 7pm, at The Oak! See you there !

as the summer comes to an end and we move into cider and mulled wine season i would like to take a moment to pay respect to all the crisp, shiny pints ingested over the summer.

21st November at The Oak
46 St James Street, Kemptown, Brighton
Free entry

ChopChop play a kind of high energy artrock with frontman Xelís de Toro mixing angular frantic movements with yelped vocals, and the band pulling in wildly eclectic influences to form their own unique sound. They have drawn comparisons to Talking Heads and The Fall, but there are also nods to absurdist theatre thrown into the mix.

Beau Flies are a trio from Hastings featuring Otti Albietz, Haydn Ackerley and Colden Drystone - together they make music that veers from pummeling to twisty-turny to highly melodic, often within the space of a song. They’ve played all over southeast UK, the arctic circle (Varangen festival in Vadsø, Norway) and that London.

As summer turns to fall, sunshine turns to rain, pants evening rolls around again. We simply couldn’t wait any longer to customise some briefs !

If there’s been a pants-shaped hole in your heart, worry no longer. This Tuesday, at 7pm, you can satisfy your craving to embellish with glitter, bows, lace, buttons, patches, the sky is the limit.

See you there 💋

£6, or £5 BYO (clean) underwear !

Something wicked this way comes, or in other words, here’s Cast Off Club’s official October lineup !

Expect plenty of slashing, slicing, sewing, splicing, incantations, maybe some plotting and ritual sacrifices. Enjoy with a side of beer, and if you’re lucky maybe some treats (or tricks).

Don’t be afraid to stop in for a spell… we don’t bite

So far we’ve raised nearly £200 (not including gift aid) which is amazing. Thanks to everyone who out hands in pockets. Can we raise more? That’d be amazing.

Link to donate in my bio. If money is tight, please share my pinned pic to your followers.

12hr DJ set at @oakbrighton on Saturday 10/10 from noon until midnight. Electro / alt hip hop / edits / remixes / beats and pieces. Should be a really fun party.
