Hey you, pause right here for a minute.

Before you swipe to the next slide, here are a few things I’d really love you to remember:

1. It’s fascinating to see what the mind of God can dream up through a person who chooses to partner with Him.

2. Write the vision. Make it plain. Put it everywhere. Let people know you’re serious about it.

3. Legacy is sustainable. Build something that outlives you.

4. Write history. Take the pictures. Make the videos. Document the moments. One day, you’ll be very glad you did.

Now, in the next few slides, I’ll take you through some of the beautiful spaces within Oral Roberts University.

And just so you know, this isn’t even half of it. There’s so much more to see.

Enjoy the (mini) tour! ☺️

Cheeky little photo at the ORU Welcome Center for students.

Remember what I said about the vision? Write it out oh. Put it everywhere.

The 60ft tall praying hands (healing hands).
Right hand - God.
Left hand - Man.

Our tour guide explained that the right hand was created to be slightly higher than the left depicting that man’s partnership with God is what enables success.

If you see this on your way to school (or anywhere, really), won’t you be encouraged?

A space within the school of arts, dance and media reminding anyone who walks in that they’re God’s creation.

Ya heard?

A scene at the chapel - baptism for students.
A Christian school through and through.
The joy in the room? Palpable.

Meeting the Provost of ORU. What an honor.

Praying at the ORU Prayer Tower.

The ORU Concierge - Think fun, relaxation, break time.

Then, history. History oh!

The first time Catholics joined Oral Roberts at his tent meeting. I believe this was in the 80’s.

The Christian is the Jesus that people see today.

One of ArchBishop Ben Idahosa’s Books from a while ago.

A chapter within the book.

This was sooo incredible to see. Recordings from many years ago on cassettes.
Preserve history!

History. Preachers. Tent meetings. Revival.

A monument in honor of Dr. Oral.

You should read this.
If God gives you something to do, you better do it.
He’s counting on you.

One last photo from the group. Hope you enjoyed it! 🤍

A girl saw an ad for an event professional programme from @eventsarchitectsacademy and thought, “I really, really want to be part of this.”
That girl was me. 😂

I remember seeing the programme and immediately knowing I wanted in. Unfortunately, at the time, I simply didn’t have the funds to enrol.

Fast forward to a random conversation with my Pastor, I mentioned that I really wanted to attend and wished there was a way I could get a discount. She simply said, “Okay, let me see what I can do.”

And then… I forgot about it. 😅

A week or two later, I got a call from her.

“Are you available for a sponsorship programme?”

ME: Of course!!! YES!!! 😂

At that point, I didn’t even know what the programme was about. All I knew was that it was a sponsored professional programme, and I had been deeply craving an opportunity to learn, grow and sharpen my craft.

Then she sent me the details the next day.

I was in TOTAL AWE.

THIS was the programme I had wanted to attend all along.

I genuinely never imagined that was what she had called me about.

So I walked into that classroom as a scholarship recipient—grateful, humbled, highly favoured, and honestly just excited to be there.

And I made a promise to myself:

I was going to get EVERYTHING I could from this opportunity.

I was going to ask questions.
I was going to step out of my comfort zone.
I was going to do things I had never done before.
I was going to be fully present.
I was going to drink and draw from every single lesson, conversation and experience.

And then…

Tell me how a girl who initially couldn’t afford to enrol got sponsored into the programme AND came out as the VALEDICTORIAN of her cohort?! 😭🥹

Honestly, sometimes your story will make you pause and say, “God, YOU did this.”

I didn’t just get into the programme.

I showed up. I immersed myself. I gave it my all. And I came out with my head held high.

I am incredibly grateful.

Grateful to my Pastor for thinking of me and creating the opportunity.

Grateful to @thisisfvo for opening up a sponsorship slot that gave me access to an opportunity I genuinely desired.

And grateful to God, because when I look at the entire story, I cannot explain it.

A new chapter.
And say to Busayo, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.#

The 60:22 army - A movement of people who will shape culture through the spirit of faith and love bringing great joy to cities and nations.

God’s word never fails and that’s on periodt!

Today, my church @wearethenew_global moved into our first property and it feels so surreal. It’s our very first service at Fusion Center. 💃💃💃
We spoke this into existence and here we are living in the fulfillment of that word. So, we’re keeping it casual and chic today.

Are you feeling today’s slay?
