Since @atelier_ziqzaq s owner @offshore_6 has roots deeply connected to crate digging, DJing, and music production, it’s always a pleasure to build music-related furniture in our shop. It’s something we’re familiar with — from wiring needs to DJ setups, we know exactly what the space requires.
That familiarity really came into play this time, as we had the opportunity to build a massive DJ booth for DJ/producer @lawrenceled0ux — a man who’s been hoarding records in his home studio for 30+ years and was long overdue for a home worthy of his collection.

This piece had to do it all:
🎛️ A proper DJ booth built into the unit
📀 Dedicated storage for 33s and 45s
📼 Cassette storage
🔌 Storage for music gear
🌀A capacity of 5000 records

Three decades of vinyl deserves more than stacked ikea shelves. We built this to be functional enough for daily digging, and solid enough to outlast the collection itself.

Brian Allen Simon recently performed at Objects & Sounds, based in Ghent, Belgium, in a line of live dates including London and Paris to support the release of the new Anenon album titled ‘Dream Temperature’.
