Well another Saturday market @aberfoylemrkt never disappoints. Always amazing vendors ! Mark could not join me so my good friend Fran made the trip with me. Picked up some wonderful things but I still can’t stop thinking about the one that got away😱. Thought to long and came back to pay for something that was not even for sale and it was sold. Still don’t get it. Reminder to us all if you love something buy it. Busy week now getting ready for the @whitecountrysidevintagemarket this Saturday @creeksidegrow Hope to see you all there❤️ and the cute little dog in the rocking chair is Teddy from @adrian_tinline_antiques

Jewelry might be my main love, but antiques were my first. My parents were both antique dealers, so naturally this life found me early and never really let go.

Throughout the shop, you’ll find a collection of antiques sourced by both myself and Atta from @objekts.ca. We each hunt in our own way, drawn to different places and different stories, but our aesthetics seem to speak the same language.

Atta travels to France in search of beautiful things, and if you haven’t spent time exploring his world yet, I highly recommend it. His eye is extraordinary. I’ve been drawn to his work for many years, so having his pieces woven throughout the shop feels a little surreal, and somehow very full circle.

There’s also an antiques section on the website where you can browse what’s currently in stock. We don’t typically ship these pieces, but where there’s a will, there’s usually a way. Besides, I’ve never been one to turn down a scenic drive and a chance encounter 😉

Other than Christmas, my favourite time of the year……the Saturday market at Aberfoyle. Day was perfect other than the wind. As usual amazing vendors. So great to see Kim from @tatteredandtorn and Charmaine from @thevintagemarketandgreenery. Popped into another fav @objekts.ca. My big purchase was from a new to me vendor Ian from @iandrummondvintage omg his fabrics are to die for. I got the most stunning curtain panels that I may turn into something else❤️ see in the pics. I’m a firm believer in, if you love it buy it; you will find a home for it😍 Mark and I then had our peameal on a bun at The Kitchen. Mark as always a great cart puller and car packer . Tks @aberfoylemrkt for another amazing show. Look forward to the fall show. #antiquemarket #antique #frenchstyle #frenchmarket

There’s a quiet kind of hope in bare spaces, after the holiday decor comes down. A moment to pause and feel the still excitement of a new beginning.
