When I walked into @flaxpentopaper during launch weekend last month, I just expected to hang out, see the @imperfectconcepts B6 newness, try the Lamy 2000 EF nib and pick up a few mini prints.

I thought I was good on leather covers. I got my A5 Trifold last November at FLAX and my A6 Bifold in Harvest from @oblationpapers in August.

I made a beeline for Alex, cause hugs are required. We were chatting as I circled the display.

Then, that Painted Olive stopped me. There were no questions. It was mine.

Flax has/had such a beautiful selection and I still don’t remember seeing anything else.

The first page of a new sketchbook, or the first step of a journey, can feel intimidating but also exciting 🤩Many thanks to Diane for this @oblationpapers sketchbook! Our local @gpstationeryshop has a good selection 💝

I have discovered… sticky corners!!! So now I can add postcards, photos, or art to the cover of a journal and change it out whenever I want. Hehehe!
B6 Stalogy 365 notebook, leather journal cover (made by myself!), beautiful card from @oblationpapers , Kaweco student fountain pen, and sticky corners (link in stories).

Portland Rain: Slightly gloomy, with hints of depression- but do not dare to pull out an umbrella.. ☔️ We in the PNW soak it up and press on. Seriously though, you should see the Wildwood Trails 💚🌲
