It was so special for the @thefashionaunties to learn about the meaning behind @obsxlescence designer Vince Ropitini’s collection that showcased in the @kaahuicollective @nzfashionwk show!

Nō Taranaki a Vince. His collection is named Ūkaipō and says it is his coming home collection after living in Ahitereiria for a few years and returning and connecting with his whakapapa!

Congrats to Dame Lisa Carrington and her hubby on the birth of their baby girl yesterday!

Good also loves that the Olympian and former Good magazine cover star is one of the celebrities supporting the @kindnesscollectivefoundation latest t-shirt campaign.

It may seem like too soon to mention Christmas but eight celebrated artists and designers have created a range of limited-edition t-shirts to support New Zealand charity Kindness Collective during the Christmas period.

It’s the third year for the ‘Wear Kindness’ campaign and features new designs by twenty-seven names (main photo), Waiapu Road, Vince Ropitini, Hine, Otis Frizzel, Ema Frost and returning this year are Juliette Hogan’s and Kiri Nathan’s bestselling designs.

The campaign is fronted by Dame Lisa Carrington, Brook Ruscoe, Tegan Yorwarth and Bella Kalolo, with the full range now available to purchase.

“Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu. Adorn the bird with feathers so that it may fly.” 🪶✨

At first glance, Vince Ropitini’s black and white tee may look simple, but the meaning behind it runs deep.

“Manaakitanga is about giving someone what they need to soar. Support, encouragement and guidance. The five feathers also represent the five fingers of a helping hand, a reminder that kindness is something we extend.” For Vince, it’s about helping future generations find their wings 💜

Together, they created six limited-edition tees so you can wear kindness on the outside too, and all proceeds will go towards bringing joy to families in need this Christmas ✨
