I applied for my college graduation today. 🤍

When I was a little girl, I watched my mom make sacrifice after sacrifice so she could earn her bachelor’s degree. I watched her walk across that stage, and even then I knew I was witnessing something special.

This year, by the grace of God, I’ll become only the second person in my family to earn a bachelor’s degree.

What once felt impossible for our family became possible because someone went first.

This degree represents more than late nights, papers, and exams. It represents faithfulness. Perseverance. Breaking cycles. And proving that where you come from doesn’t have to determine where you’re going.

Mom, thank you for showing me what determination, sacrifice, and perseverance look like. You planted seeds in me that are now bearing fruit, and I’ll always be grateful that you went first.

To my husband, thank you for believing in me, encouraging me when I felt overwhelmed, and carrying extra weight so I could keep going. I couldn’t have done this without your love and support.

And to my boys, I hope one day you look back and remember seeing your mom work hard, trust God, and finish what she started. I pray you know that following God’s calling is always worth it, and I hope I’m leaving you the same kind of example my mom left for me.

Most of all, thank You, Jesus. Every assignment, every late night, every challenge, and every victory has been sustained by Your grace.

Here’s to finishing what He called me to. 🎓🤍

A love letter to my summer rep summer 💌

Spent the summer repping my favorite place! We caught 8 flights, gave out 18 scholarships, went to 1 camp and 7 CIYS, met countless friends and saw God move in more ways than I can count.
