UNIDEE Programme 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨, 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 continued in June with 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗜: 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤. 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮, led by artist Francisca Benítez. Beginning from total silence, the residency unfolded as a gradual collective attunement, from individual intentions to a shared practice. Through improvisation, somatic listening, and embodied engagement, participants explored forms of assembly where knowledge emerged through shared experience, reciprocal learning, and the collective practice of listening. Visits to urban gardens became moments for exchanging situated knowledge, while conversations around lingua franca questioned how languages are shared, negotiated, and continuously transformed. Time spent along the river invited reflection on its own entity and agency. The residency concluded with an organic collective presentation of micro-actions, unfolding as a shared language and choreography. Many thanks to mentor Francisca Benítez, curators Nina Fiocco and Gaia Martino, and to all the residents who took part in this collective process: @cittadellarte @nina_fiocco @ga__.mar @occhiosordo @mercedes.balle @zeeynepyilmaz @martha.schnee @vermicellx @maya_dikstein @marianna_demarzi @sahar_el_echi 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝗩𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝟮𝟮–𝟮𝟲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝙄𝙣 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤: 𝙏𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗻í𝘁𝗲𝘇 The programme 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙨, 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 is the UNIDEE Modules 2025/2026, curated by UNIDEE Visiting Research Curators 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗙𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗰𝗼 and 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼 at @cittadellarte. 📷 Photos n. 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 by Francisca Benítez Other photos by the UNIDEE team.

The Solstice week has been a true gift. A heartfelt thank you to the @unideeresidencyprograms team and to the curators @nina_fiocco and @ga__.mar for creating the conditions for such a generous and enriching experience, shared with 11 incredibly talented artists, authors, poets, researchers, performers, and practitioners. . Throughout this week, we navigated a continuous movement between the individual and the collective. Expectations, possibilities, boundaries, roles, postures, vulnerabilities, and limits surfaced, shifted, and were gently renegotiated. . The remarkable freedom offered by the wonderfully supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Francisca Benítez (@vieja_escuela_pichingal_) opened an immense field of potential. Some of it took shape, some remained suspended—and perhaps that, too, is part of the work. . Grateful to the CerTo stream, the organic jam…sessions, the water insects and the dragonflies, the mica stones, the morning dew, nonverbal communication, flowers and plants, the mountains, the clouds, the Gorgomoro waterfall and all its inhabitants, our shared studio, the conversations, the doubts, the silences, the generosity of shared learning, the readings, the ice creams, the gardens and everyone that takes care of them, Francesca and the Let Eat Bi (@leteatbi) project, the students at Unidee, the echo of the Third Paradise, and Cittadellarte (@cittadellarte)for welcoming us. Until next time 🌬️✨ Ph. credit Francisca, Sahar, me. . . . #artresidencyprogram #collectiveproject #contemporaryart #fondazionepistolettobiella #assemblage

ATOPOS cvc × Office of Hydrocommons PURPLE — ECOLOGIES OF SALTSCAPES Annalisa Zegna & Mauro Diciocia ATOPOS cvc × Office of Hydrocommons is happy to present the trailer of the new video work created by Annalisa Zegna & Mauro Diciocia in the framework of Purple — Ecologies of Saltscapes, a multidisciplinary research project developed during their residency in Greece. If you have not make it to their open day, get a glimpse of their research! Exploring the hypersaline lagoons of Messolonghi, the project investigates the ecological interconnections between extremophile organisms inhabiting saline environments. Drawing on field research conducted in dialogue with scientists, environmental researchers, and local communities, the artists present an audiovisual installation combining video and field recordings that translate the micro-dynamics and macro-rhythms of the lagoon ecosystem. Inspired by the Purple Earth Hypothesis and the vibrant pigments of microorganisms thriving under extreme conditions, Purple — Ecologies of Saltscapes reflects on resilience as a collective ecological process, foregrounding interdependence, care and coexistence in times of environmental uncertainty. The project is supported by Culture Moves Europe, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Goethe-Institut @culturemoveseurope #CultureMovesEurope @annalisazegna_ @occhiosordo

MUQU006 / Oltre il Sasso is now available in its digital edition. Oltre il Sasso is a various-artists album documenting the eponymous two-day gathering curated by Ambient Noise Session & Musicaquieta, held last year in Trassilico, in the mountains of Garfagnana (IT). Drawn from a dispersed programme of situated practices and live actions shaped by the village’s civic, religious and rural spaces, the record includes improvisation, tape processes, medieval devotional repertoire and installative interventions, preserving an encounter between sound, nature and memory. Here, the air that moves through the pipes of the church’s 18th-century organ is scored by acoustic gestures, carrying sacred singing, the tolling of bells, footsteps on stone and silences into an unstable field of cohabitation. 1. Collettivo Nexus (Improvvisazione in piazza) 2. Gelba (Concerto in chiesa) 3. Mauro Diciocia (Concerto in chiesa) 4. Tresinus (Concerto in chiesa) 5. 💦We are thrilled to welcome Annalisa Zegna and Mauro Diciocia as the newest residents of ATOPOS cvc x Office of Hydrocommons. ‼️Public presentation on Saturday 13 at Salaminos 72 venue, more info soon.‼️ 💦Their collaborative practice explores aquatic ecologies, wetlands and liminal landscapes through visual, sonic, and performative research grounded in fieldwork, listening and ecological observation. 💦We are especially happy to welcome Annalisa back to the residency program. Previously in residence with ATOPOS cvc x Office of Hydrocommons, she developed research around hypersalinity and saline ecologies, a line of inquiry she now expands together with Mauro through Purple — Ecologies of Saltscapes. 💦The project focuses on the hypersaline lagoons of Messolonghi and the extremophile organisms inhabiting these environments. Combining sound, video, microscopy, and field recordings, the artists investigate microbial life, red-purple pigments produced in high salinity conditions, and the ecological rhythms connecting these wetlands. Inspired by the Purple Earth Hypothesis, the research will culminate in an immersive audiovisual installation developed in dialogue with scientific and local communities. 💧Photos: [1] Portrait, Annalisa Zegna and Mauro Diciocia.
