On Oct. 17, 1-3pm, Poets in the Grove Vol. 2 brings some of L.A.’s brightest voices to the Pine Grove at Barnsdall Art Park for an afternoon of poetry, possibility, and collective imagination. In celebration of Susan Silton’s “Civilized Voices,“ we’re exploring what happens when text, voice, participation, and public memory become tools for collective action—and what we might create when we imagine beyond this world as it is.
