Integrity – Den Of Iniquity

One of those crazy releases by @ocrecs 🙂
Released in 2014 by Organized Crime Records (OCR053-LP) on double clear with black smoke vinyl, numbered. Limited edition of 320 copies.

Housed in a wrap-around silkscreened hand-numbered alternate cover with the standard gatefold cover inside (no idea who made it, probably Dwid...).
The gatefold jacket is with UV spot gloss printing, designed by Dwid (you can barely see this on the last photos, that's the best I can do hahaha). Vinyls are housed in two white, plain inner sleeves. Both are stamped with band name and sign. Includes a 12"x12" insert with liner notes from Aaron Melnick and a huuuuuuge 24"x36" poster.

Turn It Down! a compilation by Last Shot Records from 2007 is a snapshot of a hardcore era that had grown stale. Only a few of the bands featured here made a modest imprint on the scene.

TAEA and Cut It Out are the two that stand out most to me. Most of the rest don’t seem to have existed much outside of this comp/sampler. Same goes for the labels involved with exception to Triple B, New Age, and Organized Crime.

Thank god the TUI demo saved us the same year.

*added to Discogs this week.

Picked this up from @dirtyriverrecordsstl this morning. I’d love to have a Victory 10” copy but I thought this was a nice copy to find in the wild since it has the OG art and I love this art so much.

Heavy Birthday!
Today marks the 30th anniversary of the 3rd studio album by the pioneers @integrityofficial that were a defining part of the 1990s hardcore scene. This album is definitely an essential metalcore release.

Super #latergram📸 from the #juneteenth trip with @ransom.finn to Chicago! It was my first time flying with Ransom and we had a great trip! Saw lots of tourist-stuff, ate lots of yummy food, saw @panicshack at @cobralounge (the band AND venue were incredible in every way) and got a chance to hangout with a couple friends! @vinyls_is_not_a_word drove from Indiana to take me record shopping while Ransom enjoyed @brickworld! Had a tasty dinner with @ocrecs for our first time meeting in-person, even though we've been interwebz-friends for years! Didn't get to see as many friends as I hoped... so next time!
Aside from missing our flight outta Richmond, the rest of the trip was top-notch! Can't wait to see what Ransom picks for our trip next year!?! #brownsinvadechitown

On this day, August 11, 2017, All Out War released “Give Us Extinction” via Organized Crime Records.

The New York hardcore veterans returned with members of the classic “For Those Who Were Crucified” era & delivering another crushing mix of hardcore, thrash & metal.

Nearly three decades into the band’s history, “Give Us Extinction” proved All Out War hadn’t softened one bit. Facts.

Salute!
