When a mysterious passage hidden beneath a furniture store leads to an impossible labyrinth of endless yellow rooms, architect Clark finds himself drawn into a reality that defies logic and escape. As he ventures deeper into the Backrooms alongside therapist Mary Kline, they uncover traces of vanished researchers, distorted spaces, and disturbing entities lurking beyond the limits of perception. What begins as a search for answers gradually becomes a descent into isolation, obsession, and existential terror within a dimension where every corridor seems to stretch on forever.

Vancouver horror is having a moment. And we’re thrilled to be part of it.

A huge thank you to Shawn Conner and the Vancouver Sun for shining a spotlight on REMNANT and Vancouver’s growing independent horror scene.

Our very own @natboltt spoke about her experience making the film, the appeal of horror, and why there’s something special happening in Vancouver’s filmmaking community right now.

We made REMNANT right here in Vancouver with an incredible local cast and crew, so getting to share it with a hometown audience is going to be something special.

Our Canadian Premiere is October 18th at 3:45 PM at the Vancouver Horror Show! I’ll be there with members of our cast and crew for a Q&A following the screening.

IT ENDS premiered at SXSW 2026, and is the debut feature from Alex Ullom (who wrote, directed, and edited the film). It follows a friend group of graduates who go on a late night drive, but accidentally turn onto a never-ending, two-lane hellscape surrounded by untold horrors and cosmic forces beyond their understanding. Ostensibly a very contemporary, Gen-Z take on Jean-Paul Sartre‘s influential 1944 existentialist play “No Exit.” With Phinehas Yoon, Akira Jackson, Noah Toth and Mitchell Cole.

“Backrooms” is a well-executed, tense, mysterious film. The score, the cinematography, the set design, the make-up — all of it outstanding. The ending wasn’t it for me, but I loved the rest of the film!
